A certain tightness that wasn't quite pleasant, but it wasn't entirely bad, either. Family would be nice, she supposed, though she really had no idea what to do with family. Okay. She really needed to stop getting caught up in her thoughts about subjects that weren't as deep as she seemed to always think they were. After all, having family or whatever to watch her back was exactly what she had signed up for when she arrived. It was what she believed she wanted. Not being alone anymore would be... nice. Probably. It was nice so far.

"I've never gotten into reading much fiction, though I have skimmed through my fair share of textbooks to gain as much knowledge as I could about things I didn't particularly understand on my own." she admitted, looking toward Aya and offering her a small smile to show that she wasn't at all bothered by to amount of talking she had done. "I think that delving into some - horror, you said? - might be lovely. I'd be happy to test the waters with any recommendations you have."

She slowed down a bit as they reached the edge of the swamp, almost entirely pausing as she looked around. Now, this... wasn't too bad. Feeling a lot more at ease than before, she sped up again to arrive at Aya's side. "I think I like this a lot more than I do the muck we just walked through."
