ATBASH CIPHER
i know i should stop believing
i know there's no retrieving
i know there's no retrieving
Of course Atbash let Dimitri into her home, though she still looked confused on the reason he had brought flowers here. Atbash blinked at the male, confusion glittering in her black-eyed gaze and she frowned. "Wh-what do you mean, Dimitri?" She asked. Was he... asking her out? Clearly. She told herself, biting her lip a bit. He literally just now admitted to liking her, brought flowers, and promptly asked if she would be interested in giving 'us' a try. "D-Dimitri, I'm sorry," She replied, trying to find a way not to make the words sound choked. It hurt, knowing that he had done this. It probably took an insane amount of courage for him to finally come up and ask her, and she was just tearing him down. This was something she feared would happen if she asked Cry out, but she... never expected to be on the receiving end of this. "I'm really sorry, I-I have to say no." She just felt no romantic attraction towards Dimitri, even though he had a female alter. Just because he had a female alter didn't make him female, and even if she went by female pronouns, Atbash would still have to deal with the other alters. Atbash had nothing against Dimitri or his alters, but she couldn't find herself being romantically attracted to any of them, mostly due to the fact she just wasn't interested in men. "I'm... not into men." She explained rather quickly, moving her gaze to the floor. She was somewhat ashamed by this, since back home she would have been ridiculed for having an interest in people as the same gender as her. She knew Earth was more accepting, but that still didn't really mean she was completely out in the open with her orientation. Sure, Dimitri had been there when she was giving out Pride flags, but it seemed now he thought she was just an ally. "I'm really sorry Dimitri. You-you're a great guy and all..." She trailed off, unsure of what to say anymore.
