calico ears perked up, hearing the girl's struggle but not quite moving at first. it looked somewhat comical, the boy standing there and listening to her 'oofs' and 'ow's' with an occasional flinch. when she called his name, he then began to move in her direction.
he entered her room hesitantly, setting down his knapsack by the door and coming closer to nuzzle the side of her cheek. "you alright? i brought some games to play, if you want! it's not a lot, i didn't know if you liked looking at pirate ships in bottles as much as i do, so i brought some things over that i know we both like!" captainpaw purred, backing up to tip the bag over and let the crayons spill out and the coloring books to slide out with them.
"uh, i got this bead necklace making kit too. i was gonna use it to make my pirate ship look nice, but i probably need bigger stuff anyway."
