He was ready to ask her. Or at least, he had summoned up to courage to ask her. He really liked her and could imagine a life with her-
a selfish part of him felt he didn't have many other options in the clan. He liked Atbash. She made him feel accepted. He was ready.
The tom had collected flowers from outside the territory and had bundled them up with string. There was a rose surrounded by various yellow flowers- mostly daffodils. It wasn't a very great gathering, but the thought counts, right? Dimitri was bothered that Donovan didn't offer to help him. Normally the tom was all over this stuff, but now? He didn't want anything to do with this and still had yet to tell him why.
The tom came to Atbash's cabin, putting down the flowers briefly to pick up the rock by her door and give a hardy knock.
