She was quick, of course, to establish a sense of ritual and hierarchy among her siblings – very easily squawking loudly at them when she felt upset or if they had breached unspoken terms. It was like a telepathic bond existed between them with the way their unintelligible babbles seemed to be understood only within their feral pack. It birthed a sense of loneliness, a brimming sense of loss which waded longingly in the shores of his mind. Her heart was like a river, untamed and cold, mirroring the predatory malice which laced her earthly hues. Even more was the loneliness that Virgo held compared to Exodus and Ament. She doesn’t acknowledge it just yet but her desire for leadership put her directly at the top, all by herself and depriving her soul of a humble spirit. No, she became proud and intoxicating, a tyrant queen of her venandi brothers and sisters.
Virgo’s eyes open, staring critically at the disappearing figure of her downy-feathered sibling. Exodus, she notes internally, snarling at nothing in particular. And so, feeling obliged to follow, she rises to her two, thinly legs and ruffles her feathers. Just then she was having a nap, resting so regally atop a furry heap of animal skins. Her feet crunch over her nest of bones, kicking gusts behind her small frame as Virgo begins to pick up speed, wobbling against the resistance of the air. The savage bronze girl says nothing to alert Exodus of her appearance. She stops a few times to hide her figure, slanting her eyes in cautious examination of what her sister was up to. As far as she is concerned, it appears that Exodus has become intrigued by the moving masses. Whatever else Exodus was up to, Virgo wants in. She refuses to allow any member of her pack to do anything greater than her and so, it doesn’t take long for Virgo too to recognise the grand form of Pincher, addressing words to the Typhooners.
Exodus may envy the attention that the captain was receiving but Virgo was jealous of it. The only one who was allowed to be treated like a king was her. Immediately taking offense of the male’s display, her nostrils flare and she puffs bitterly in Pincher’s direction. There stood a threat that she planned to eliminate, Virgo beginning to tap the ground in predatory anticipation. She will fight him, win, and take the throne for herself. Then, all those pirates will have to look to her for orders. With a warning cry, shriek piercing through the air like an explosion, Virgo begins running faster than she has ever before. She sprints and leaps, attempting to bite Pincher on the leg. Of course, she can only harmlessly nibble on the leader should she manage to somehow land her bite. She was still ready, however, to see Pincher submit to her 'sheer, overwhelming strength'.
