Jiyu had a history with groups that lived in snowy territories that seemed to defy the seasons. The cold calico did not often mention it nor behave like such, but the thickness of fur being so dense that it formed a false mane around her neck was from the fact she had lived in such a frozen climate for a long time. Luckily? The mansion and its surroundings did have a slight chill to them, even if it was not as cold as this land. Even if she was best suited for land like the one she was visiting today, the lithe female was glad she did not live anywhere like this. All the memories she could get caught in looking at almost constantly falling snow? Were ridiculous and she didn't need to be caught in that turmoil when she had her mother back when she had somewhere to call home and something to fight for. Colored paws were shaded white by the snow, her uncovered eye scanning the landscape trying to figure out exactly which direction she was headed, the scent was more difficult in the snow especially since it was freshly fallen.

If she was tracking someone? That would be easy, but she was trying to not cross a border at the moment. Jiyu had no intentions of causing trouble when Roseblood was simply announcing its existence. Years ago? She likely would have easily caused massive issues going out on her own like this, not bringing someone else to do the talking and simply coming to guard the speaker. Thanks to events passed, she was now subtly able to do something like this without full-on war being the result. However, maybe her group mates would like war, they always had that taste for it. Regardless, she needed to do that right and that involved not crossing the border.

Once she was sure she was still not over the border but could scent that patrols likely came by often, the limp nearly corpse-like calico with fish dead mismatched optics sat down in the snow to wait for one of the patrols. Luckily she had come alone, so she could function perfectly as possible, it would have been bad if someone came with her, someone she had to protect. Of course, Jiyu was not so lucky as to always get her way and hope the presence who had been following her would just go back now that they had seen this territory, or that they would stay out of sight.
