[div style="width: 45%; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;"]Never once had he been totally left in the dark. As a mere young'un exploring life in a distant realm, he had the assistance of his close friends and family to teach him the ways of the world. As he grew older, he had the company of his uncle, none other than Seeker Daremo, who, for the longest time, was a mere ghost or voice in his head. Only a little before did his apparition become a truly physical form that one could touch and detect and decipher as real. And soon after that, Seeker disappeared to the depths of...wherever, leaving the bold but admittedly awkward Toxicwaste in the dust. Here he would not be left behind: here, in this port village, he would establish his little colony, plant the seeds of growth and inspire others to do the same.
It would begin with a meeting within the towering walls of the Coliseum, which would stand the rest of time and refused to crumble.
Little notes inviting the members to the Coliseum for a meeting were imprinted upon the doors of the apartments and homes of those who decided to follow the consul to this town and take up residence amid historical, almost ancient buildings that could still support many families, warriors, healers, merchants, or just the average member of a group. The Styx River Order had established itself in this city, yet they were still in need of a sign that there was more to come. They needed contact with the other factions around this new realm, find out the different people that called the land beyond their domain home. Not only that, but they needed to learn more about their own territory, and perhaps even their own comrades.
What could be found in the center of the Coliseum was a feline that stood relatively short in height and slim in build. His neon green eyes expressed an almost hollow look, as if he were not a living creature, but of course, he would live. He would live and thrive, and he lived for the survival of the Order. "G-Good day, everyone!" It was then that Tox would address his sheer apprehension of facing an audience that was larger than just one measly ghost or a few close family members. But he had to persevere. He had to break the awkward silence and push through.
"My friends, we have made it to our home, here in this port. I hope you're all settling in well, and good luck to those who have dedicated themselves to the Order. It is here that...that we will prevail, free from the clutches of evil and—you know what? You've heard me drone on and on," the feline finally drawled, his tailtip twitching as he spoke. Really, they were all probably sick of him at this point.
"Let's get down to business, eh? Okay, so. Seeing as this is the first meeting, sorta, there's no promotions. No demotions, either, of course, you're all still citizens and I can't really bring you any further down unless you break a rule, heh. But we do have high position tryouts open, so check those out if you're interested in acquiring a position. Ah, now! We have to visit the other groups, of course! The Order thrives through trade rather than conquest, and we do need to secure eligible trading partners. So make some gifts, find some interesting trinkets, and stop by a neighboring group. We're new around here, we ought to say hello, heh. I'll personally be visiting Tanglewood." Okay, okay, you did fine. Breathe.
"If you'd like to visit a group, just say so here. Also feel free to bring up any comments, questions, suggestions, anything. Otherwise, consider yourselves dismissed."
