PRINTED PROMISES — MEETING 07.29

It'd always taken her off guard, the blaring horn, especially when it caught her when she was right in the center of camp, like the first meeting she attended. This was her ... third meeting so far, if her memory was serving her correctly, and the placid feline was approaching it with a new mindset. Now, she was thankful for the horn, for without it, she might still be sitting in camp, wondering why a silence had taken over the area. Instead, she navigated over, trying not to brush too closely to everyone, falling into pace with her crewmates.

As the meeting began, the blind feline had taken a seat, feeling especially connected to the announcements now that she was relying on her hearing more now. Fischer's face was graced with an ardent smile, thinking of the many joiners of the Typhoon that week. Not as much as last week, but still, a healthy amount. And they all came with their bubbling personalities, their diverse voices and scents. It was a whole new thing, learning about someone through what they said rather than what they did now. Fischer was sure she'd always relied on actions rather than words, but it was almost a hypocritical ideal, as words were so powerful to her. Her heart welled for those that were promoted, proud of the three that would be joining her as Strikers ... or so she thought.

Privateer. "Ah ... thank you, Captain ... I'll do my best and beyond, promise." The black smoke would murmur gently. They were pretty serious words to say to someone in glitter, but Fischer really had no clue that Pincher was still covered in the remnants of his makeover. She'd, of course, heard all about it, and had a little bit of a laugh to herself, but she was sure the Captain was in order. Either way, she made her way forward to the tea, feeling around the bean bags to where Pincher was, pawing delicately for the drink and taking it quickly and fluidly, returning back to her spot, or the nearest spot to it, a gentle, but joyful look on her face. She had a lot to owe to the Typhoon now, more responsibility to upkeep. She ... she had a lot of faith in this place, it's power to empower others, to liberate, and she wanted to make that known to everyone that came through those gates. It was her duty, rank or not.
