the call from the conch had caught captainpaw off guard for sure, but the young beta's heart was sent racing after recognizing it. another meeting! he wondered what pincher would have too say so soon after the last. perhaps more turmoil among the other groups. were those swamp monsters causing a ruckus again? or perhaps it was snowbound out to do them no good once more.
he hurried toward the source, following along in single-file until the room opened up and he could find his own space. he had arrived just in time to hear pincher begin, his tail flicking back and forth excitedly. he recognized a few names that were listed in the shoutouts and greetings. temulin seemed nice, though she was very lost and far from home. bakugou was the angry new guy, who had a temper to match caesar's himself, who also received a shoutout. he looked around for goldie, wanting to congratulate her, but it seemed she either hadn't arrived or was hidden between the crowds.
it took him a moment to realize he had been promoted, at first getting ready to run to vandal and cheer her for doing so well, and halting himself. "woah... thank you!" cap purred in response, his heart fluttering in his chest.
