FELIKS — SNOWBOUND
Birds tended to be creatures that he had preferences for. They were beautiful creatures that could flourish in many different environments, with his true birth species being a being easily mistaken for an avian it was easy to understand his bias. Even with this however, there was a great struggle for Feliks to take the little raven's words seriously, or even acknowledge her with a lick of respect that others of her kind deserved. Eyes widened in a mild surprise as he was referred to as a beast and was treated as such, flapping elongated wings defensively. "Ain't nothing disgusting about sticking up for myself. Jeez, with that type of attitude you'd think I'd murdered a puppy or something,". He hadn't just to clarify, not that he remembered doing such a thing at least. Days were fuzzy sometimes, if things got too much he found himself growing meaner, but for now he was in a state of tranquility (as tranquil as one could be when they were arguing with the locals plus insulting them... perhaps he wasn't that calm after all) and he wasn't about to let some birdbrain change that.
He prided himself on having a mentality closer to that of a human than a wild beast, but if there was one thing that kept him from going full on Animal Farm it was his stubbornness. Feliks lost nothing by refusing to learn his place, he could just move onto another group who would allow his rough around the edges attitude to shine in full force, and it was this knowledge that caused him to challenge and challenge. "Well alright then princess. May your name please grace thy tongue so I can let it sing me to sleep like a mother's graceful lullaby? I shall offer nothing but gratitude should you be willing to share thy sweet title,". A Shakespeare he was not, but the griffon's mocking coo still seemed ripe with genuine politeness and fanciness. It was all theater, the masks merging together in anticipation for the final performance which still seemed years away. Yeah, perhaps he was a bit of an asshole, but the male thought he was at least an honest one, in a world stacked with liars and thieves that was certainly a redeemable quality.
