[div style="background-color:#F0B1DB;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;"]//god my muse for them is limitless ahhh, when are you planning to make his joining thread? i can just imagine delilah forgetting boundaries and literally trying to smother him in a hug jesus
Delilah was confused for a moment, and the girl blinked slowly as his tone shifted. It was all too much in one instant, and the girl flinched slightly at his frustrated tone. She shook her head, standing up to walk a bit closer, favoring her injured paw. "Everyone has a home. You just have to let yourself have one." Came the unusually wise advice from the pastel feline, shocking even herself for such good advice. Curse her.
Life eventually screwed others over? Probably. She was bad with people, and her anxiety usually caused other people to distance themselves from her. So, yeah. Maybe life was one to screw others over, which led to Delilah remaining quiet about such a remark. Why? Because she could relate to that.
Her magenta eyes moved over to the other male, tail twitching as she puffed her chest out proudly. "My adoptive mothers are teaching me. I want to be a doctor, so I have to learn." She chimed, turning around and bounding back over to her basket, lifting it up onto her back. It was too bad he declined her offer, she really hoped he'd stay. He seemed nice, after all. But there was something about the male that kind of threw the pink maine coon off-guard; probably the fact that he seemed to want to stay distant. She didn't do too well with distance.
But, who was she to demand attention from this man? She barely knew him. But she supposed that was her flaw, after all. She got attached the moment someone showed her attention, fell in love too easily. But she never had the nerve to speak up. Never had the nerve to debate, to argue.
At the tone of voice the male seemed to take when her when she mentioned Vig, her head tilted before it connected in her mind. "Nonono! Mr. Cipher is merely my superior. I'm not worth anyones time like that." Delilah blurted out, her face tinting a bit of red as she snapped her fluffy head away, staring at the ground. She didn't deserve someones time, someones attention. Maybe that was what ruined things with her. She constantly degraded herself, and it really did get on her mind a lot more than it should.
Looking up at the setting sun, the pastel feline's fur seemed to tint as the sunset hit her fur. The falling of cherry blossoms from her pelt decreased, and her ears flattened in steaming sadness. She always did this. Fuck. "I should go." Delilah whimpered out, turning her small frame away from the lynx after a moment of silence. She was terrible. She needed to go home. "Hopefully you find your home, Cavalrychoir. I'll be cheering for you." She meowed, scratching at the ground before beginning her trot back home.
//i'm gonna end this here bc i don't want them to develop too much through just meeting!!!! if you want another thread after he joins, i'd love that!!
