As people gathered, he was pleased to see that it wouldn't be completely dead. He decided he wouldn't keep them waiting much longer, as they could reexplain to anyone who came in late. "I was setting up a simple game for our two clans to play together--but alas, someone has been murdered," he said, though his deadpan tone took some of the fun out of it, a paw motioning towards the 'dead' npc that laid beside him. They laid stiff, their back twitching as they giggled on the ground. He promptly smacked them on the back of the head, hissing at them to be quiet and that they were 'ruining it.'
With the one playing dead now silent, he turned back to the members of Snowbound and Ascendants, eyes darting at all the faces before he spoke again. "Due to this, instead of what I initially had planned, we'll be trying to figure out who the murderer is. Clues are spread out across the territory, and you all will search in groups of two or more, to promote getting to know each other and all that," he goes on with disinterest, though he hopes they'll at least have a good time.
"I'll give you all a few minutes to choose your partners. There should at least be one member from each clan, and once you find all five clues, come back to me and we will reveal the one who's done it," and with that, he falls silent, allowing them to find their partners.
