Argus' x Chart and opinions

[ARGUS]

yeah argus is kinda reserved, in that they don't really give off their impressions of someone and are generally reserved by nature. So I'm dropping this here to allow everyone to peer a bit into their head. Feel free to drop ideas because they don't know everyone- and an interaction thread can go a long way to changing an impression to them- for better or for worse ツ

"Cronas is a kid." They punctuate. "They shouldn't act the way they do, like nothing matters. Like their... emotionless. I guess... I'm personally not one to judge, based on my own shitty childhood. " they paused there, shaking their head softly, bitter smile on their expression. "For as long as they live here, I will protect them", there was steel there conviction, that softened as they reached their own conclusion. "they remind me of my own kids. Of course, i'll protect them"

"They've been here almost as long as i have, if not longer," There is amusement, flickering between their eyes as they speak. But it fades lightly, "I don't... know them well enough. Don't feel like they want to be known. Reliable, sure. But..." pause, breathe think. "There is a lot, people are running from, I get that. I do, but you don't need to tell us what your running from." Argus' voice is soft, as if speaking to a timid animal, as if they were meant to speak to paper cutter themselves. "but you need to stop hiding"

Argus stiffens slightly at the name- and the question. They don't speak for a long while, gathering their thoughts trying to... word this. "Everyone comes to the typhoon to run from who they used to be. It's just our bad luck that we run into each other. It's hard to forget the contempt he had for me, and some part of me will not forget that. I was always intimidated by him but," They relax, a small amount, looking away and... smileing softly. "But now, i think we do alright by eachother. I can't say i see him like a dad- to compare the two would be an insult to the big fella for sure. But... Equals."

"there are a lot of newcomers around recently, I' sure if you look there are already bets of who is going to run tail after getting a taste of the place." There is bitterness in their tone, though they remain relaxed, indifferent- weary. "It's easy to say that i don't care about them, because their new but that's not true," Easier said, "I guess, we'll wait and see. huh?"

Jacob - ✘✘

Spoiler:

"the little lover boy" Argus' first words come to quick, and they make no move to take them back. It's not said with hostility, so much as fondness, withdrawn as it is. "the kind that always believes the best in everyone" Stop. The thought next shouldn't be said. "the kind of good that darkness should not touch"

Pincher - ✘✘✘

Spoiler:

"pincher.." The words sound hollow to them, and they still, the color draining from them. "they trust me- i, i don't-" they don't know how to handle that explicit trust, but then something steels in their expression "He shouldn't. But he does" There is something there, conviction to do good- a promise in their eyes- and the flutter in their own heart goes ignored.

Rosemary - ✘✘

"that bitch?" The snark in their voice is all bluster, you know, and the smile that comes is fond "She doesn't like me much, but i don't mind her" Argus summarizes their relationship clearly, and argus is too forgiving to people like that- all spitfire and aggression like her younger days "Give her time, to get that stick out of her ass, she'll make a fine healer yet"
