Gah, who knows? She didn't understand anything about that. The big ol' spider seemed intelligent though, at least enough to go out and check the water. There had definitely been a lot of new arrivals to this place, though it wasn't exactly a lush meadow land. She hadn't stumbled here because she was just so in love with a swamp that could possibly be the harbinger of mutation, she'd specifically been searching for water. Basic instinct. It wasn't the cleanest water, that was for sure, but water smelled like water regardless, the only real discernible factor being if it was salt or fresh water. And she wasn't going to hunt down salty ass water.
