ASPIRING FIRES !
nui harime — female — snowbound — eaglehearted — hard physicality
there was something about the way that the hot chocolate warmed her throat. seeped into her body, chasing away the cold winter and the frost. healing. comforting. words she'd never thought she'd associate with a simple drink, yet here she was. with the ivory droplets of snow whirling all around her, fast like frigid water, she took a moment to steady herself. to ponder on the opportunities this new life would bring her, and all the individuals she could meet.
"oh? miss cry, is it?" nui spoke up, directing her attention to the avian at her sudden statement. she set down the flask gingerly, stepping forward to join the group from where they stood. mistaking animals for unintelligent was not a mistake that nui was likely to make-- she knew how to distinguish the beady, savage nature in one's eyes from the intelligent gleam in those black irises. call it a sixth sense if you would, but nui was far too keen to make such a simple mistake. for all of her obnoxious personality and cutesy appearance, she was far from dumb. far from it, and anyone who thought otherwise would be in for an immense surprise.
"i didn't call you feral, of course. i think of you much too highly for that," there was a ginger pause. at least, she hoped she thought highly of cry. she hadn't gotten to know the other, but perhaps there would be a time and place in the future. even though friendship was trivial and inconsequential, she was quite looking forward to unravelling the personalities and habits of these sociable creatures, scrutinizing them so thoroughly that they may as well be familiar to her own self. she was calculative. in a twisted way, but calculative nonetheless.
"i'm referring to the other creatures that wander snowbound's domain. you know, the ones that people aren't friends with."
