He was the tank, the brute force of the team. Even now, despite seeming alone in the battle, he still had someone at his back. Sigma's voice echoed loudly in his mind, overpowering the other AIs. It was still somewhat difficult to focus with so many voices in his head, yet he managed. He had no other choice.
Meta grunted as Washington barreled into him, pushing him off the leopardess. He quickly regained his footing, however, growling at the other male. Washington had never been the best in the Project, but he was persistent, and that still counted for something--especially when he was still willing to fight with a broken leg. Still, he just took it as a sign that he needed to break another one. He would make sure none got in his way, even if it meant getting his paws dirty.
But before he had the chance to make a move towards the smilodon, Carolina was coming at him, catching him off guard as her paws slammed into his helmet. It forced his head to the side, stunning him and giving her the time she needed to trip him. He let out a strangled noise when his neck was gashed, though it wasn't deep enough to cause any major damage. It did hurt like hell, though. It didn't help when he hit the ground hard, either, head whipping over to glare up at his former teammate.
Considering the size difference, the paws holding him down wouldn't do much. It did limit his movement somewhat, though. He'd twist his arms to wrap them around her leg, attempting to roll over onto his back and fling her over with him. It might have also crushed her if she ended up underneath him.
