i've wanted to write him like that for a long time
— he tends to be aggressive when he's angry. threatening the other person, holding his paw up as if to smack them, cursing a lot, even breaking things that are close by
— can be described as selfish; he tends to put himself first. he does things for his own benefit, and when he does choose to help others, it's on his own accord
He just likes all the attention to himself and does whatever it takes to get what he wants Whether it’s manipulating, stealing, robbery, etc
— Also I’m?? Trying to flesh out his insecurities because everyone!! Has!! Flaws!
While jersey is far from perfect, I don’t want him to be flat
He’s a confident and really proud person so it’s hard to tell that he really has any insecurities but I’d say that he feels like he’s not good enough and he fears failure/disappointment? Jersey prob covers up his insecurities/moments of weaknesses with sarcasm or aggression, anything to brush it off like it’s nothing (even if it gets to him on the inside)
He's learned that being a softie gets you nowhere on the streets, and that you have to be strong not only for yourself but for other people
But apparently he didn't get the memo that it's /okay/ to be sensitive
— Being genuinely polite? Wtf? He’s never heard of it. I mean okay, maybe when it's necessary he'll refrain from being the annoying prick he is
He’s loud and rowdy and likes to call people out/tease them/push their buttons
He’s fucking obnoxious sometimes
— I love how Jersey is a douchebag but he’s actually a huge music nerd
Like (AU-wise) he’s in a band, been to record labels, knows how to work in a recording studio, knows the anatomy of a guitar and about amps and pedals and shit skxkfkskek what a Nerd
He’s good at harmonizing too?? He’s got a decent voice
