  [font=trebuchet ms]Today seemed a normal day, up until Paper detected the stench of blood and burning flesh- the source of which was approaching the shore, if he had to guess. Frowning, he left his hut and headed over to the beach; he had only seen someone arrive at the shore from the sea once, and that was when Argus had flown in- how could someone with bloody injuries and burns get there? Unless someone had been attacked at sea, but then where would the burns come from?

  At about the same time as his eyes spotted the scorched form on the sand, and his good ear heard the loud boom of thunder, his nose picked up on the scent of what was unmistakably Goldenluxury.

  "Anubis below- what happened to you?" Paper yelped, running to Gold's side and reaching to press a paw against her bite wounds. He jolted at the ensuing electric shocks, but didn't move away, insistent on staunching the bleeding. Did they still have a doctor? Surely there was someone who could help, but he wasn't trained to deal with electric burns, especially not ones this severe. Gritting his teeth, he barked, "Someone get bandages! Gold's been hurt!" Stopping the bleeding had to be done first, then treating the burns, if he remembered right, but that was as far as his knowledge went.
