once malphas' eyes locked on vigenere planting flowers near the edge of the town, he was reminded of his task. go scavenging, the mysterious ice-dog had told him, and he wondered if he really would enjoy it. he was a scavenger by nature, anyways.
malphas liked vigenere- he didn't give off the air of annoying divinity like some of the other members. he felt... relatable, in a weird sense. deciding planting flowers might be a good way to calm his ever-churning nerves, he set himself down to the cipher boy. "hey." he grunted out bluntly. "can i help?"
