Was he pleased to see Hazel’s user pop up, showing that she was typing? Nope. He refused to admit that he was feeling a little less murderous towards Shay for waking him up just because the girl made an appearance, and while he probably wouldn’t have bothered joining the damn video otherwise, he conceded when she did. He didn’t waste time trying to look more presentable, and when his camera finally loaded he was yawning, dark curls a disaster from sleep (and trying to hide under his pillow). He squinted slightly against the light from their brightly lit rooms, and drawled, ”Yo.” He rolled his eyes as Rad made an appearance, and added, ”Oh, Rad - thanks for the 24 hour nap. That was a delight.”
There was a touch of sarcasm in his tone, though he didn’t really care much. It was a weekend and he was already ahead on his readings, so what did it matter if he died for a day? It didn’t, really. He would have minded less if she hadn’t kicked him out of her room to nap, but whatever.
