To be truthful, Caesar didn't really care or take note that Papercutter had disappeared. In his eyes, the Beta was just another annoying child that was around and although he was around and hosted an event, he didn't really matter to Caesar. In fact, Papercutter had been the one to announce his 'death'. That was frustrating.
"Let me see that." Caesar said to Vanessa as he passed back, noticing that she was reading some sort of letter. Without waiting for a reply from her, the demon craned his neck over her shoulder as much as he could, reading the note as much as he could from that angle. "Oh, so he's gone for a while, then." He said his thoughts out loud with an ear flick. "How... disappointing." To which Caesar clearly wasn't. He wasn't happy per say, but it was obvious he wasn't as concerned as he should be in this situation.
