☆.｡.:* PENDANT TRADITION GUIDE .｡.:*☆

TRADITION
Started by Starrynight, the pendant tradition is one that all Ascendant members must participate in and follow. Members are obligated to receive their necklace and pendants, but they are not required to physically wear them if they choose not to. They are simply expected to keep their necklaces somewhere for safe keeping for the duration of their time in the Ascendants and to receive their proper beads accordingly. Beads are used to represent various check-points throughout a member's life as well as their current and past ranks; pendants are specific to each member and meant to say something about who they are.

TIMELINE
— Dwarf Stars will be given the opportunity to choose their necklace at some point before they become Fireballs. Necklaces can be made out of any material or substance, and are one of the major points of distinction for necklaces, seeing how all pendants are made of the same meteorite material.
— Upon becoming a Fireball, individuals will be taken to the Starpool to find their meteorite shard. This shard will then be crafted into their pendant and several beads to mark certain achievements in their Fireball training. As they train, they will receive their beads periodically, marking their progress as a Fireball.
— During their Observer ceremony, members receive their pendants to mark the end of their training. They will also receive any final beads from their original shard.

** NEW MEMBERS will be asked to follow any of these customs up until the current age they are. If someone joins as an Observer, they will choose their necklace and have a shard crafted for them right away, receiving all of their Fireball beads at once with their pendant. If they join as a Fireball, they will choose their necklace and select a meteorite shard, and so forth.

PENDANTS FAQ
All pendants must be the same dull silver-grey metal, as a result of being crafted from the same meteorite shards as everyone else's. Fireball beads are crafted from the same shard and will be the same color. (Members are free to use design references in any color/metal, as long as they are aware that the actual pendant will not be gold/silver/etc.)
Pendants are meant to all be individual and different, but subtle similarities between pendants are allowed. Please check here first to make sure that no pendants are identical.

CLARENCE ASTON [color=black]☆
Clarence's pendent has a simple design of a feather on his pendent to symbolism a molting bird; shedding old weight in order to make room for new growth.

STARRYNIGHT [color=black]☆
Starrynight's pendant is an engraved crescent moon with a sun hanging in the center of it. It represents his dedication day in and day out, as well as his optimism even during the darker times.

MAES HUGHES ☆
Maes’ pendant is the symbol of

FORMER
These pendants may have been taken with leaving members of left behind. Any discarded ones are kept in the Control Room in case someone returns one day.

LUNAFREYA ☆
Lunafreya's pendant is a crescent moon with two gray beads. The string, made of steel, was passed down from generation to generation in Luna's family.

OWEN GRADY ☆
Owen's pendant is a steel raptor claw, symbolizing his loyalty to the raptor pack in which he raised from eggs.

GORDON CIPHER ☆
Gordon’s pendant is a rose. She has an affinity for flowers, and they represent how delicate she is. The rose specifically represents happiness and purity.

BASTILLEPRISONER ☆
Bastilleprisoner's pendant is a circle with the triskele symbol set into it, symbolizing his three souls.

WARRINGKINGDOMS [color=black]☆
Warringkingdoms’ pendant is an upside down question mark, referencing the fact that she doesn’t remember her past, but has grown to see the Ascendants as home anyway.

MARGAERY ☆
Margaery's pendant is the fleur-de-lis symbol. It is the symbol commonly associated with her family and represents her gradual acceptance of her vampirism.

SUITEHEART ☆
Suiteheart's pendant is the polar bear with a crescent moon band of stars. The bear represents her newfound control over part of her being. The band of stars represents those she has lost but will never forget.

HAZEL ☆
Hazel's pendant is a swirled sun and represents her usual optimism and hope, as well as her immortal past.

ROY MUSTANG ☆
Roy Mustang's pendant is an array for his flame alchemy. It symbolizes his fiery, calculative, cunning, confident spirit.

DALE COOPER ☆
Dale Cooper's pendant is three diamonds with two mountain peaks jutting off from the side, the symbol making the shape of an owl.

IMPERIA ☆
Imperia's pendant is a dove with its wings outstretched while surrounded by rays of light. The dove represents gentleness, sweetness, and love, as well as peace. The rays of light represent her piety and commitment to the Maker.

ANZAREL GRIMM ☆
Anzarel's pendant is two dragons gripping each other's tails - one is more indented as though to appear darker with a diamond shape left untouched on the forehead like a 'white gem' facsimile, this dragon has feathered wings dotted with star indents and it's head is lithe with strange jagged eyes - the other is the opposite, carved to appear lithely armoured with a mask like face with four slits for eyes with wings draconic also dotted nearer the edges with stars - both sit on a disk with a whole in the center, the disk is decorated with archaic runes showing the wax and wane of the moon as the last eclipses the sun - the representation of chaos and order, the two sibling emperors of the old world Anzarel hails from.
