WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — There was a village up the river that none of them knew of. Or if they did, they weren't worried about it. Had Jacob been aware of it, he might have moved Snowbound. He'd lived in different cities for most of his life and he saw how destructive humans could be. Even if their creations could be beautiful, they had a tendency to destroy every natural beauty they found. Even among their own cities and creations, they left waste everywhere and thick smog filled the air if it was bad enough. That was one reason Jacob was glad to be in Snowbound, far from the smog that made his breathing even worse than it usually was. No, the fresh air of his new home was welcome and it was probably better for his long term health.

Today, though, something was wrong. Sewage and unidentified waste filled the river that ran through Snowbound, bringing sludge and disease. There was already plenty of prey running around in odd patterns, attacking everything in sight. Anyone who came near the water or the infected prey risked illness or worse and, with their nearest water and food sources completely contaminated, it seemed that Snowbound was in for some trouble.

Hi guys! So don't feel like you have to reply ic to this thread because it'll mostly be used for ooc purposes but I wanted the plot and consequences of it to be clearly stated somewhere so newer members wouldn't be so confused about this thread haha. Below the plot and how to move forward in it will be described but feel free to integrate what's happening into your open threads and outside plots so we can get as much from this as we can! This thread will be updated as we move through each phase and more instruction will be added, as well as additions to the ic portion to explain what's happened in each phase.

Basically, we'll be doing this plot in phases and the way we advance each phase is by earning a certain amount of points, which is described below. Currently, we are in phase one.

Goal for phase one: 50 points
Current amount: 9 points

You earn points by requesting different tasks and completing them. All of them will have to do with the plot specifically and are meant to encourage more plots within the context of this large plot. There are three different types that you can request:

Easy: These are small tasks like gathering resources or building defenses. These are mostly defensive/preparatory tasks and all you need to do is make the thread to earn points. - 3 points

Medium: These are tasks between easy and hard ones. They may be defensive, like easy tasks, but might have an extra objective like a special event within the thread itself, getting a certain amount of people to help, or might require interacting in other threads. They may also be small offensive tasks, such as fighting small feral prey that needs to take a certain amount of damage before it can die. - 5 points

Hard: These are the most difficult tasks. They may have one or more extra objectives if they're defensive tasks, they may ask your character to have something specific happen to them (although that would be a degree to your choosing), or they may ask you to fight off a large feral animal that requires the help of multiple people and has a set amount of damage that it must take. - 10 points

There will also be special events every single day starting tomorrow that will have multiple objectives and require multiple people to participate. If those are completed, the clan gets 15 points towards it's goal.

To ask for a task, just request one on this thread (please specify which level you want), and if you need to submit a completed task, just state which level it was at (easy, medium, or hard) and give me the link to the evidence (whether that be a thread or a post) and I'll add it as soon as I can.
