Little Miss had been doing her rounds of wandering, slowly venturing further and further from the place she had been dropped at. While the descendants of the departed seemed pretty neat, the leopard cub craved more excitement. She was young and naive, to say the least. Her mother had kept her a secret and hidden away, only allowing her to lull around in a very restricted area of neutral grounds (after she had scouted the area, of course).
The mottled cub was resting with her eyes barely open, only stirring when a leaf brushed across her face and caused her nose to wrinkle up in a sneeze. She shot up to her feet and quickly blinked over to some nearby brush. The urge to hide was engraved in her young mind, the will to keep hidden away. Did anyone hear her? See her? Little Miss wasn't sure, but she also wasn't going to wait around to find out.
Slinking through foliage and weaving through the shadows, the feline would finally find her heartbeat beginning to calm. She had found herself at a stream, one of which she assumed was empty after a lazy scan. It wasn't until she stood with the water at her ankles that she spotted the stranger, her expression shifting back to fear.
"Hello?" she would attempt to project at them, the voice no more than a faint whisper, shaking with worry.
