✦ Aurum, while he considers himself a lion, evidently is likely a tigon. His pelt is a dark, earthy brown, like moist sand. He's of average size and build, with notable bulk around his legs, which makes the petal shaped, dusty golden stripes along his forelegs more evident. The same stripes extend along his back and spine, flittering out like solar flares - towards his tail the stripes merge together into bands of varying sizes, that shrink as they go further down his tail. The tuft at the end is the same shade as his stripes, a fluffy clump of fur that Aurum tries his best - and fails - to keep clean.
His mane is the same colour as the stripes along his back, a musty sandy yellow. His mane is usually a tad unruly at the best of times, but that's mostly due to Aurum always being out and about. The mane doesn't reach far, just to his shoulders; and the front droops slightly just below his ears. His ears - generally unremarkable as lions go - are bejeweled with earrings, a single golden stud and a loop on each ear. Aurum's face is another extension of his unusual markings, with a line of golden fur running from his mane down the bridge of his nose to the tip, forming a golden diamond around it. His upper eyelids share the same gold, along with a distinctive 'sundrop' shape fanning out in three spots below his eyes. His eyes are a gentle, warm shade of green, not unlike apples or mature leaves, with a gentle crinkle to them from years of smile lines.
