ROSEMARY & HAYWARD
The vampiric ocelot and mercenary sabertooth walked the cobblestone streets. Rosemary tilted her head up to look at him as she spoke softly. Hayward almost slouched to murmur. Occasionally, one would laugh and that would spark the other to join in.
However, when Albericht fell flat on his face before the couple, they stopped.
Rosemary squinted skeptically at the possibly-drunk vampire. She leaned against Hawyard’s leg as she asked, “You okay?” If she had to deal with plague during her first month as apothecary…!
Hayward blinked as he looked down at Albericht. However, he couldn’t hide the amused gleam in his pink eyes. “You’re Albericht, right?” He flashed a smirk, but was able to smother that facial expression. “We probably haven’t met because bars bore me.”
Rosemary glanced at Hayward. But then she shrugged. She didn’t bother to stop leaning against his leg. “Bars are boring.”
