Another day, another meeting. Dead Eye did not expect much from this meeting, but he was glad that he got to indulge in the beauty of the Vayu's falls while Meteor yapped away. Per usual, he sat near the back and listened from afar. His eyes kept moving back to the water as the pharaoh spoke, uninterested in the majority of what the other had to say. The usual seasonal tournament was expected, as was the update on the island's current state. Hell, the chicken coop was a nice addition. A nice egg in his daily meal couldn't hurt.

What he did not expect was his name to be called when he looked back over. The maned wolf was stunned, but not surprised. Dead Eye had dedicated the majority of his life to serving Vayu and their counterpart, especially as a voice to the dead and a guide to the winding caves below. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help but think a life of serving was his punishment for being so dishonorable in the first place. Bottling the thought, he offered a thankful dip of his head. His head rose back up to reveal a grin full of the cannibalized canine teeth that lined his dentures.

Since no one else spoke up, and he was the latest to be mentioned, the new inquistor of destruction chose to be the first. He rose to all fours and stepped forward to distinguish himself from the crowd. "It will be an honor to serve the Gods and you," he remarked. "What is my first assignment as Inquisitor?"
