Kole didn't make a habit of visiting people often. Kole didn't make a habit of getting attached to people enough to warrant visiting them in the first place, not in the past, what, fifty years? Well, all things were subject to change, he supposed; and he'd been getting closer to Meteor, whether intentionally or not.
A sort of... Mutually beneficial relationship had formed between them. Or more like contractually obligated perhaps, and there was the question of whether that was healthy, but Kole really didn't care so long as he was getting some kind of bonus out of the situation. In hindsight, at some point the bonus had stopped being 'regularly getting fed' and become more of a 'spending time with Meteor', but that was a semantic and Kole refused to think too much about it.
Point being, Kole didn't visit people; but here he was, slipping inside Meteor's personal quarters without a care in the world. He'd never been in here before, so he didn't really have any way of knowing how different it was to when Valerius lived in this place; hadn't much liked the guy; but he figured there were some differences. Namely, old man Prometheus's skull hanging on the wall. Totally normal and not something to be concerned about, of course. Then again, this was a cannibal's bedroom, so maybe Kole should just not question what he saw. Yeah. That seemed better.
He watched in silence for several moments as Meteor paced back and forth. That seemed concerning. What'd got the Pharoah's figurative knickers in a twist this time? He tilted his head, frowning, and then figured it would just be best to ask, y'know, like a normal person.
"Yo," Kole drawled, "what's'a matter, pops? Anything I can help with?"
