Cyprian had decided to stay within the Paradis Archipelago. The language barrier between Vinicius and himself had him worried at first, though the worries were unfounded as he discovered the crew spoke the same language as himself, if not with a bit of an accent. The group had grown much since the phoenix had last been alive. And other than his death, the place didn't hold as many bittersweet memories as previous home. The fact that they hadn't pushed him much on his past was also most appreciated. The crew was a group of misfits with pasts, and Cyprian thought that suited him rather well.
-------The part underground, part underwater space was quite discomfiting to the winged creature. Nevertheless, he was herded in alongside the rest of the crew. Obstaining from taking a seat Cyprian stood and watched as a three-legged feline took it's place on the mineral throne centerstage. This was their leader, he had come to understand. He'd seen the creamy captain in passing, though they'd always seemed to be doing their best to avoid the world. Cyprian wasn't going to be the one to bring them out of that.
-------Keeping to himself the ave took in the reactions of varying crewmates. The meeting was rather grim. Cyprian had heard bits and bobs of news from around the Typhoon, but never had it been lain out so plainly. Crewmates were missing, they were at war, cannibals, and a lack of high positions. No wonder Sherbert was so grave. Things were going to shit and they had no support.
