Raymond kept his eyes on the border as he patrolled. He was merely doing his duty as a member of the group. It gave him purpose, along with something to keep his mind off things. After all, the panther still yearned to find his father and wondered where his siblings had went after all this time. In a sick sense, he wondered if he would ever see any of them appear of the border before he made his move. He doubted that though. Even so, he still went to work with some hope in mind and a job at hand. It was the least he could do.
In time, the slick feline found himself sticking to the shadows and walking meticulously. He only spotted Byriath during a break in his thoughts and realigned himself to wander over towards the other. An ambassador? Raymond had no experience in dealing with ambassadors. Instead, he tried to keep courteous. There was no need to act hostile, was there?
He dipped his head in greeting. With a kind smile crossing his maw, he looked back up at the other curiously. "I'm afraid I cannot make any decisions of the behalf of Tanglewood, but I can guide you in the right direction," he started off with. Continuing on, he asked a simple question. "What can we do for you today, Byriath?"
