The ocean waves lapped the shore. The sun was rising over the lands the many creatures and realms claimed. The white sands glistened in the faint rays of light and all was still. Or, at least it seemed as such. It was quiet until a faint splash broke the silence. Anyone looking would see the choppy waves had a single form upon them. Riding them on a hot pink surfboard, made by paw.
The splash heard was this boards rider leaping up onto it to catch the wave. Graceful. Elegant. Skilled. She rode the wave in a beautiful arc until the wave collapsed on itself. Sending the board coasting towards the shore. She would ride it until it slowed and then leap off. A vine tied to her form letting her tow it back out.
She rode until the sun was high above. Then, she came to shore. Slipping onto the land, the red velvet sphinx cat let her gills flair to expell the salt that was there before letting out a relaxed sigh. She needed that.
