Upon spotting the woman of shadows from afar, one question came to mind... Did everyone have to be so edgy within The Pitt? The ever changing rainbow cheetah was starting to notice a pattern, though he was never disappointed by it. In fact, he admired their darkness. It was why he came to The Pitt. The fact meant that there was some potential for sharp edge, something he dearly desired in his life. Today, thankfully, gifted him with no different.
He could not help but notice her basket though. Had she gotten that from Night of No Stars? Did the other LIE to him by saying he made baskets only for the groups? Surely, the other did not, but the thought couldn't be helped inside Bakari's small mind. Jealous of the other's impressive craftsmanship, the cheetah trudged forward with his tail lashing and eyes narrowed towards Always Dead.
"YOU! I SEE YO- OH MY GOD. A FUCKING SNAKE!"
Wildly, they jumped back as the snake's head poked out of the basket and started to crawl up the other's frame. The ten foot snake was large and deadly. Though, he would later admire the snake, he could not currently be consoled. He had gone for the basket, but was instead surprised by a slithery reptile. His small, yet tall, frame was shaking in shock. For now, he needed a few moments to recover. A few deep breaths, some thoughts to be recollected, and then a repositioning of his attitude were definitely needed.
In time, Bakari recovered from the scare. With a nervous laugh, the cheetah smiled. "Okay, so, the basket is not the concern here," came his nonchalant murmur, almost consoling himself.
