the sound of her husband followed by the yip of his voice. Her ears slammed back and her jade eyes peered up in time to feel a paw touch her forehead. She could feel his concern and she felt worse for worrying him. She knew her head was cool to the touch. Her body was not feverish in the slightest. This was something far different from poison or illness. She just couldn't place what was different.

It was a long moment of silence before she spoke in turn. i am fine love. Just a little nausea. Maybe i ate something odd. Or well, someone. she paused and then later her ears twitching slightly. Thankful for the shadows cast by her beloveds wing.

or perhaps i have something else going on. It has been a few days of this sick feeling when i wake. she did not want to say it outloud. To jynx it and ruin something for them both. But perhaps she was pregnant after all.
