the pup, still struggling weakly, felt teeth grab her scruff and heard a voice. she felt a shiver leave her as her mind raced. daddy? i'm so tired.. was the only thought she had as teeth gripped her and safety felt a sure thing. she knew byr had her. she knew she was okay. he would never let her wash away.

she just had to stay awake, but it was so hard. she struggled. forcing her eyes to stay open as her body curled into the typical ball.
