You picked me like a flower, didn't expect the thorns! -- Ice Cream cat. Crewmate of the Typhoon.
Sorbet had never been found of the rain, preferring to stay indoors whenever a storm decided to torment the Typhoon. He always hated how the rain messed up his fur and made it cling to him in such odd ways. And so it was no surprise that he was curled up in his home during this storm, safely tucked away with his paws curled up under his body and his ears taking in the sound of the droplets hitting the roof of his house.
He hadn't heard Sherbet's call to get to higher ground, he hadn't noticed the steadily rising water that slowly made its way inside his home. No for his eyes had been fluttered close while he relaxed with a soft purr. It wasn't until the water hit his body that he finally noticed it, eyes snapping open and quickly taking in the situation. He quickly stumbled out of his home, stopping at the edge of his porch when he noticed how high the water already was.
Sorbet shook his head, clearing his mind of the panic he felt and leapt off his porch, wading through the steadily rising water as he searched for his brother. He quickly tried to get to higher ground, hoping that he would find Sherbet somewhere along the way but his efforts seemed to be futile as the current of the water was growing too strong for him to fight. He fought to swim in the water, trying to get out of it and get to safety but he was growing tired and soon enough he was swept away by the current.
