★ WHEN MY HEART IS MADE FROM GOLD AND FORGIVENESS SEEMS TOO BOLD
“I can’t believe she hasn’t tried to eat any of them yet.”
Hazel had been watching from afar for a bit, nestled safely amongst a separate flower bed and sunshine, amusement lighting her expression as she watched Bastille struggle with the new filly. It looked as if Octavia had chosen him as her companion rather than the other way around, which was...hilarious. Hazel quite liked the Arabian so far. She was as high-spirited and prideful as her breed spoke of - which would assuredly make her an interesting ride.
Arion remained on the pathway between the flowers, head lowered to sniff around where Hazel had been and looking as if he wanted to take a bite out of the flora. "Oh, no you don't!" The cocoa feline immediately reached out and swatted a paw at him, catching the colt on the nose. He jerked back, indignant, before stooping low again. Deus, horses and their bad listening skills! With a growl, the girl swiped again, harder, and Arion finally backed off.
"Yeah, so...horses, especially foals, have a crappy sense of listening." Hazel huffed, trotting over to join Bastille and Octavia. Arion seemed no worse for wear as he lost interest in the flowers and trailed after Octavia, nickering to get her attention.
