pain ripped through her body. pain that made her want to through up. she was tossing and turning as all children would. she couldn't shake the pain and she wanted to go find byr or plexus. she needed to find one of the guru's, but she couldn't move. pain ripped through her back and she yelped. she hoped her cries did not wake anyone. she knew it was late and others were asleep. she felt like her head was splitting and her back was being clawed up. the pain was unreal and she struggled to her paws only to fall onto the floor.
later.
it was sunrise when she dragged herself out of her nest. stumbling outside to get some air and looking exhausted. she had no idea the changes on her little worn body. she now sported butterfly wings that were pastel rainbow. a pastel pink horn. she was now a marbled pink and black.
she still had her flame tipped ears and tail. yet, she looked much different. collapsing into the dust, she started sobbing. she was sore and didn't understand why. it didn't make sense to her. then again, it never would. so many things seemed to be changing for her now.
