[OOC: I revamped Selthies and Glamier's design! Two heads now instead of one gbhjn, otherwise theyre about the same]

  Four pairs of eyes wander over the children gathered under the Cherry Blossom Tree, a tree that stood so beautifully beside the Inn they had been welcomed into not two weeks ago. Selthies and Glamier sit, tail curled around their talons, wings folded neatly against their body. A wispy stream of smoke trickles from Glamier's nostrils as she watches the little ones. She does not like them. Filthy hybrids.. a few express draconic traits, but were sullied by their other parts. A shame!

"This one," Glamier begins, "has you childrens gathered today here to learn fighting skills."
"Skills of defense too!" Chirps Selthies, scarce able to contain her excitement. She simply adores children. It was her idea to host the playdate, with Glamier arguing back it had to have some sort of use-- so, here they are, about to coach the youth of the group on sparring. Did she ask a higher up's permission? No. Should she have? Perhaps.

The two glitter beautifully in the afternoon light. What with their scales veined in corundum of every hue, their iridescent wings, the vibrant ruby strips from hind leg to tail tip, and their long, flexible body- each movement dazzles the eyes, every breath has their scales glittering in the sunlight. Stealth is impossible, but they are certainly enough to keep the children's short attention spans rapt.

Well this was perfect! Evarhi was a tough one. A real rugged brute! And this would only help him.

He had no clue who this dragon was but she offered lessons in fighting and that was just about all Ev did in his free time.

KEKHAI   dragon-jaguar hybrid - alithís evgenis - they/them

The scrabbling of small talons announces their arrival. In comes Kekhai, the youngest of Bai Shi's children. In comparison to their siblings, the silver colored creature was incredibly different. It likely came from coming out of the egg last. Weakest of the lot, and the least likely to fight or strike in any way. The most the hybrid had ever done was bat with their talons at a stick or something of the like. Actual combat? It had yet to even register within their mind that such a thing existed. They remembered this dragon, having met them when they had first joined the group. A friend, perhaps - as loose as such a thing was constructed within the youth's mind.

"Fiiy," Kekhai chatters as they plop their rump down. They're interested, but for far different reasons than combat. Pretty and dazzling colors were quite beautiful. They make grabbing motions with their grubby talons, finned ears twitching from where they rested behind their mammalian ones. "Sheshi," The hatchling then blathers, a grin presenting itself on their fuzzy maw. Perhaps it was an awkward attempt to pronounce the word 'shiny'? It was unknown to all but the youth that was making the noise. Their split gaze turned to their sibling, grinning at him with a wriggle of their tail following.

APPEARANCE.

— Kekhai is a small hybrid of a dragon and a jaguar. Their appearance is commonly found to be similar to that of a koi fish due to the gold, black, and silver colors that they possess. Kekhai has long, antler like horns coming from behind his rigged, somewhat mammalian ears. This is accompanied by a second set of larger, finned ears that allow for hearing underwater. Kekhai has a fluffy head and chest spotted with black and deep, near red oranges. Their head has a short muzzle, speckled with fur and patches of golden scales. Gills form where the back of the head turns from fur to gold and silver scales allowing for underwater breathing. Kekhai possesses long talons with webbing between them. Their hind legs have dense patches of black fur sticking near the knee. A long tail has an overside of black fur, whereas the underside is spotty and gold, silver, and red. The tail ends in a webbed tip, allowing for propulsion through the water. Kekhai's eyes are influenced by heterochromia, with on eye being red and the other blue.

[Veris]

Veris followed shortly after Kekhai. As much as she didn’t interact with her siblings, she liked to keep track of what they were doing. Whether this was out of pure curiosity or something else, it couldn’t really be argued that her siblings seemed to have the more interesting adventures.

Her tail swished in excitement, her scales beginning to show in bright display of oranges and reds. Her eyes, having much the same hue as her new scales, swept over the large adult dragon(s?) that she now sat in front of. They mentioned fighting skills and while Veris was by far not one to be extremely aggressive, she didn’t doubt that she would need to know how to protect herself and others.

She was gonna go exploring after all and no adventure is without its perils.

So while her other siblings babbled and spoke, Veris sat quietly while she waited for the first steps.

"hello. morning evari, kekhai, and veris." he murmured as the serval cross came to the side of his silent sister, veris. he could almost sense disdain in the one dragoness' gaze, his hackles raising automatically, prepared for a threat.

shaking himself out, he casually shuffled a bit closer, putting his paws by his smaller sister's own paw, teal eyes glancing at the female with a kind smile, "well, playing sounds fun. even if we are gonna learn how to be defensive." he murmured gently, gaze cutting back to the silvery view of kekhai's unique body. big ears cropping up, he looked at the dragon before them, studying despite his youth. "what are your names, ladies? i am laeglin." he may as well introduce himself, he figured. flicking his tail out behind him as he sat down, he tried to bring in their scent, memorizing it, his baby blue scales showing around his nose, eyes, mouth, shoulders and the little velvety stubs of his antlers.
