It was early in the morning when Eijiro had gotten up. The first few rays of sunlight entered his and Carmen's room through a small window, directly in the red male's face. He stirred awake, finding his reptilian companion curled around him in a protective manner. The full-grown Caiman let out an irritated hiss as Eijiro carefully stepped over her side to get a early start to his day. Her long tail curled around Eijiro's hind leg, causing him to stumble over and he glanced over his shoulder, annoyance in his sanguine irises. "What do you want, Carmen?" He said, trying his best to keep his temper. Carmen was a good and loyal companion, but she made him lose his temper sometimes.

"Ache. Tooth." The large reptile said, opening up her large mouth as Kirishima glanced closely at her face, trying to see what was wrong with her tooth. Nothing too bad, there was a large piece of meat stuck on her aching tooth. Slowly, he lifted both of his front paws, pulling the meat from her tooth and tossing it onto the floor. Of course, Carmen marched over to it and quickly swallowed it. "That's better." He let out a quiet sigh of relief.

Luciferus early nap is disturbed by the sounds of waking not far from where the giant jet black beast slumbers - and one might call him lazy for napping in the morning but then one might not know that Luciferus Grimm is rather more a night owl and spends most days asleep and most nights awake.

It’s honestky a miracle he can sleep these days - but the typhoon has that sort of effect, it seems to ward away the constant terrors behind his eyes enough for him to actually get any shut eye. Still one mercurial eye blinks open and shifts around before landing on the doors opening and he huffs a quiet ”good morning” to whoever it may be wandering out (there are many new faces and many old ones long gone he knows - and he misses them, misses the spitfire Bakugou, his brother Luca, misses Argus, misses his raptor children, there are so many he misses)
