MARCH 2019 LEADERS MEETING

On the edge of the neutral grounds laid the remains of Sunhaven's old beach. This would be their next meeting spot. Many clans would travel far to reach this spot, but overall would be delighted to meet new folks along the way. Thus they would gather... The leaders would come first with their heads held high to discuss important aspects.

Traveling far had kind of become her thing in recent moons gone by, when Sepiroth had served as Pharaoh, the hybrid had flown deep into the uncharted lands simply to see what was there. Of course, she had additional motives for her trips, but those were irrelevant at the moment. So caught up in her thoughts, Jiyu almost passed by the meeting spot, even having to circle back slightly to swoop down onto the sand. Years of hearing about these things, never once had she believed that she'd be part of one even as a temp stand in! Actually, she was beginning to wonder if she shouldn't have sent Bai Shi to this instead of coming herself, in spite of the fact she had been preforming most of Sepiroths duties in his absence. No matter what she thought about, her mind kept returning to the fact she knew that her talent didn't lie here, the simple fact she could think of hundred of new ways to fight, harm, kill, main or otherwise hurt someone, but she couldn't think of a single new way to communicate that she wasn't mimicking from someone in her past.

Looking around she realized that she was the first of this gathering to arrive. Sure, she had arrived with her head held high, but now she wasn't so sure, logically of course, she completely was not doubting herself for no logical reason. As the realization of everything sunk in, she considered turning invisible and pretending she arrived later than this. However, she could never just run away when she had already devoted to something, that was a cowards path and nothing scared her. Still, she could be strategic!

Deciding that observation was important, Jiyu chose to turn her large draconic body invisible and lay down on a harder patch of sand that would barely give beneath her weight. No harm could come of simply watching how all the other's interacted before making her presence known. Plus, if they were smart they'd smell her anyway, so she wasn't exactly being sneaky, devious or cowardly. 

Oh the excuses she made for fear she would never admit to.

A meeting for the clans to discuss their activities and politics which includes the world’s best leader: himself. Jervis found very much pressure in sharing his side of the story. Any chance to gloat about his success was sure to catch his attention, hence why the lanky Fox was here today, and especially if that chance included doing it to fellow royals. How... astounding.

In the depths of the shadows Jervis lurked. He was awaiting the chance to have a dramatic entrance.

The last two meetings had been unproductive and she was in no hurry to get to this one because of it, despite the seemingly new and faster political climate the groups are taking these days. Everyone seems to be getting new leaders, different traditions, and whatever else they feel like changing. The pirates needn't such grand changes. They adapt, easing into different situations as they need, and it will always be that way for them. Even the stepping down of her papa was something others could have been able to foresee, not just herself, as the quartermaster and his daughter. It was obvious in the way he moved those days, even if she had not been certain she would be ready, or even deserve such an honor. But, her stepping up did not feel so unnatural as she was worried it may. They were all prepared. This was not to call her crew predictable, but instead prove they'd never needed such grand changes. The ocean was unpredictable and uncontrollable, it is only natural they would plan for anything and everything within the confines of reality. Tihs meeting only distracted them from that preparing, but if others did make their way here this time, perhaps it could simply be a part of it. She is willing to give it a final chance, at least, especially with these changing climates. The only ones who'd not been relevant to them as of late is Tanglewood, but that may change soon enough, too, depending where upcoming deals take them.

And, to her pleasant (sort of) surprise, she would end up finding two...well, no faces, but scents here already. The captain held her head high, looking over the scene quietly as she approaches. "I was beginnin' t' think I wouldn' even show up to these anymore," she'd comment as she sat down, recognizing both the smell of the Rosebloods and the Pitt. Both of them had caught her interest in different ways, her respect towards Jiyu clear, and Jervis...well, she wouldn't exactly say she respects the greedy fox, but he has held her attention, even if for just a brief period of time. "Firs' time there's been anybody besides myself...n' Sephiroth, briefly." The female explains a bit further, knowing the two probably wouldn't have understood the context otherwise. It is honestly probably for the better none of the leaders showed up before, even just Sephiroth's wish of luck in her leadership struck a nerve. What a bitch he was for pretending like that. Who knows what would have happened if Ninazu or Stryker ever showed their ugly asses. Lucky for them, though, they're dead...according to Jervis, anyway. "Why're ya both hidin'? Scared?" she stated this in a teasing manner, a small smirk upon her features. Might as well keep things lighthearted. What they were going to discuss, she wasn't even totally sure, but they'd all have to figure it out together.

Crow would seem to materialize from nothingness when he made his late debut, form flashing as he regained control of his physical appearance once more. His arrival was done in stealth, and he scoped the area before he settled down to the side of things, a brooding expression evident in his glinting eyes. The feline had no reason to trust anyone there, but they had asked him nicely to show up.

She was not unsure of herself at all because that wasn't something she had the capacity to feel. Of course, that left her having no clear reason for deciding to remain invisible and concealed even though she arrived properly first. Her faded blue gaze caught sight of something in the shadows, but so long as it remained there the old leader would not bother with it. If the presence turned out to be a threat to herself and the other leader's? Jiyu would deal with it than, she had long ago stopped seeking out the first move from the lust for conflict, no longer finding it worth the price.

"Scared." her voice was snowy as she slowly shimmered into visibility still laying in her place against the slightly dampened sand. "I was going to take a nap while waiting, it's a reflex to flicker to invisibility when I do that." nothing in the world scared her, absolutely nothing at all! Especially not suddenly being in charge of a group. Standing up she made her way to sit next to GoldenLuxary closer to Crow.
