On top of one of the highest cliffs of the neutral grounds is where the two prospecting lovers would possibly meet for the first time. In it's midst, they'd see the neutral grounds whipping and winding hills from above. It was truly a site to see.

She had following the directions nervously. Usagi had never done something like this before but she had thought to take a chance and maybe make things a little brighter....takao better not mess this up for her if she didnt mess it up before hand.Seeing the view she sharply took in a breath and settled down somewhat close to the edge. it was a really beautiful sight"I really hope i don't mess this up"

Why the kriffing hell did I consent to this ridiculous notion? All flicking tail and furrowed brow, the petite sand cat trekked upwards, fighting off a wary frown.  She was not in this for... Romance.  Love.  Gooey nonsense where she had to actually open her heart to someone.  Actually get close.  Hell no.  As she padded along the trail -- praying to the mother she had the directions right -- a brief image of Lavi's amused face flashed in her mind's eye.  Damn Jedi.  He probably thought this was good for her... Whatever. 

At least living in Elysium made her accustomed to the climb.  Still, a pair of distinct blue hues flickered and danced, analyzing the position, noting with curiosity that the paired stranger had settled close to the edge of all places.  Well.  The cliff made for a pretty environment at least.  The sand colored feline exhaled softly, waving a long tail. "Hey.  I'm Tena." She'd always been amiable, if not a little distant; it shouldn't be hard to make friends with this stranger.

Not having noticed the one she was paired with walk up, Usagi was a little startled by the other speaking, having gotten lost in her thoughts as she stared out over the pretty terrain. she looked back and quickly scrambling to her feet, hind legs paining her but not showing an ounce of it.[color=orange]"o-oh hi I-im Usagi.....sorry this is all new for me..."

Tena just shook her head, waving a paw dismissively.  "Nice to meet you, Usagi," she offered, her shoulders rolling back in a loose shrug.  "No worries, I'm in the same sorta boat." Never one to venture out looking for... Friends or... Any meaningful relationships truly.  No wonder she had next to no one.

Well, she had never asked for anyone.  Easier to survive without... Strings.

"Where ya from?" She ventured curiously, taking a seat, curling her tail neatly over her paws.  "I'm with Elysium at the moment."

Slowly sitting back down a respectable difference away from her her twin tail slowly began to sway as she looked at tena and the view before her"Oh Im from Rosebloods it seems alot of family is there....I uh im not sure if im still a part of tanglewood? though they said i was welcome to come back, and i was a part of the pit for a short amount of time... she looks away embarrassed, she shouldn't be prattling on like this this was a person who she just met and they probably didnt want to hear her life's story which she was probably just about to also prattle out. oh jeez what would tena think of her if she learned of Takao...."so uh what kind of stuff do you like to do?[color=red] She said this nervously and very quickly, really having no clue what she was supposed to do...

"Oh I stopped by the Rosebloods briefly once," the swirling sands had felt familiar.  Dust and sun.  Her chest felt heavy.  Home belonged to the heart; was her homeland still... Her heart?  "I get lost all the time," she added as lighthearted explanation.  She shuffled her paws absently, conscious that Usagi felt more uncomfortable than she did -- almost relieved by this fact, truly, for she'd felt awkward many times before and she did not enjoy the feeling.  She did hope she did not come on too strongly though, just easygoing.  Socializing was rather easy, especially if she simply thought of something as a normal conversation.  "I don't know much of anything about Tanglewood or the Pitt though." Lavi found Tanglewood, I think... Pitt's completely new though.

What did she like to do? "I guess I like to explore and... I like to cook though I'm better at making teas and such than actual cooking.  And stargazing — I've always loved the sky really."

[color=red]Her eyes widen slightly and her tails sway a bit more.[color=orange] "t-tanglewood is full of nice people and its a big jungle.....the pit is full of mean and cruel people. My sibiling Bai shi is going to go be a part of Elysium for a bit i think.....I-i really love the stars and looking up at the sky at night, I-in rosebloods full moons look really pretty b-but because its really flat when there's no moon you can see everything and its so beautiful and i love laying in the night with something to keep hind legs warm because they are hurt, and then just gazing up at the stars and wondering at them and letting my mind wander and relax..."[color=red] Usagi shifts nervously and Tena can get the sense that shes essentually "blushing" [color=orange] "I-im sorry im babbling and going on too much aren't I?

The feline sat upright, attentive.  She'd never seen a jungle before and added the environment to her list of places to explore.  She wondered what made the Pitt cruel and why Usagi's legs were hurt but bit her tongue, unable to halt the flick of her tail.  By the mother, she doesn't have a spine, does she?  She bit back a sigh, trying to remind herself not everyone shared her tendency to be... Outspoken and perhaps a little abrasive.

She did exhale slowly through her nose, relaxing her shoulders, shaking her head in near-exasperation.  She had the sense perhaps the other was not used to opening up to others -- a boat they shared in a way, perhaps, though Tena had always been at ease sharing her thoughts so long as they did not go too deep.  "You overthink too much," she offered finally, wearing a thoughtful frown.  "Don't overload your mind with what others might be thinking but on what you're trying to convey."

"I've never been to a jungle.  I don't think I even know what one looks like, to be honest. And what makes the Pitt cruel?  I'll assume it's not on the recommended travel list."

Nodding in response to Tenas advice she takes a deep breath and recenters herself and smiles at her"Thanks um..where do I start? The Jungle is really wet and kind of swampy with really tall trees and sometimes you can't even see the sun but ligjt comes through green filtered by the leaves.....the pit um...Th-They are the ones who have been attacking very body, torturing and taking captives,the lowest rank in their society is slaves.She shifts her weight and winces slightly.[color=orange] "sorry....my hind legs hurt alot all the time because I don't think they ever healed from when they got hurt or they just didn't heal properly..."
