If one knew the luck of Lavi Solo, not a single ounce of surprise belonged to the situation befalling the present.  Perhaps the idea of becoming lost in the great wide world simply embodied the Solo-Ren family.  Force knows that the boy's twin sister had a knack for it herself.  A certain disappointment rested in the tired eyes of the youth, however, as though this time around, he felt less amused about the matter and truly lost, in all senses of the word.

Before a companion stood beside him, now he lingered alone, wondering how they had managed to get separated in the first place.  Perhaps no surprise there either, in the end.  His fiery-tempered friend had a habit of wandering and... Disappearing herself, with no clue where she lost her own tracks.  He could only hope, for the time being, she found her own way back.

He could hardly be any use when lost himself.  Chocolate eyes flickered around, studying the biome around him.  Already his plush fur seemed to soak in the moisture, flecked here and there with streaks of mud.  A trace of wonder lingered in his eyes -- he had never set foot in a marsh before.  At least he was not bored.

Releasing a quiet sigh, the youth took a seat, curling his tail neatly over his paws.  This place felt and smelled like a border.  The invisible barrier separating him from a new place, an unfamiliar group. Hopefully, he'd find help here, if nothing else.

For the time he had spent lurking in the surrounding forest and marsh of Tanglewood, he had become quite familiar with it. He had studied the wildlife and its behavior, as well as its members from afar. It was only after he felt satisfied with the large portion of data he’d collected that he began to integrate with them again. Now he was putting his plans into practice - but one experiment had lead to the unfortunate accident regarding an NPC. No less, it was progress. At the cost of their life, he had made an extraordinary leap forward. Figuratively, of course. The resulting product was still stored safely in his home, along with the other failures.

Ska’arq was seven years old, but for dragons that could live up to a millennia, he was still a child. While it had lasted, he was the oddball in his family. While his mother and sisters were pale blues and orange, he was a vibrant shade of purple. He was still small, roughly the size of a dog. This freak of nature was currently strolling the forest. What he should do next was currently rolling around his thoughts. When an unfamiliar scent hit his nose, he paused. A newcomer, perhaps?

A lack of more familiar scents told him that no other Tanglers had arrived yet. He was the first. The dragon emerged from the undergrowth, looking the stranger up and down while absorbing information about them. Height, posture, expression... he seemed lost. Ska’arq was aware that there was a common protocol when addressing newcomers at the border. As if satisfied with his analysis, he sat down. He face was eerily blank, eyes devoid of any emotions whatsoever. This was, perhaps, because he had none. ”Name and business.”

[align=center][div style="width: 450px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 8pt;"]Time brought familiarity and ease in one's environment.  Anubis had needed some to adjust, to not only Tanglewood's marsh but the mortal world itself, on his own, without a mortal host.  Of course, a link remained between him and the last.  While he remembered the Jedi well himself -- at least, one specific Jedi in particular, though she'd turned her back on that path moons ago -- the sand cat he remained connected to knew this one as well.  Lessa's twin brother.  Who would've guessed? Without Ebra's guidance, Anubis would not have recognized him, not in this form, for the boy had been a ghost last he'd known him.

In contrast to Ska'arq, he offered a small smile.  Anubis was nothing, if not customarily polite.  The question had been poised, as tradition, and the wolf settled on his haunches, studying the mountain cat curiously.  All alone, unfortunately, but Anubis knew the siblings had been separated for some time.  "You need help?" I thought he traveled with your sister, Ebra... Where is Tena?

He had been woken by a familiar tug that morning. A tug that told him much about his current situation. 1) that the force had not abandoned him and that he was still at least slightly connected to it, and 2) The force was trying to lead him somewhere or to someone. So he followed that familiar tug but had slowed when he had smelled the scents of tanglers that were becoming more and more familiar to him. He let his well known mask fall to cover his face before he walked up to this newcomer. It seemed familiar yet strange, as if he came from an Era before his... but that couldn't have been possible.  In any way the newcomer must be at least slightly important if the force was leading him to it. "Greetings I am Revan and this is Anubis. The territory we ware currently at the edge of is called tanglewood. I hope your journey here wasn't too perilous?"

The youth blinked, immediately attentive to the first to approach him. Quiet and studious.  Lavi hummed softly, brows creasing briefly before his head inclined lightly.  A small smile rested on his features, however cold this dragon was.  He had known cold and peppy alike, he would treat them all with the same kindness.

"My name is Lavi Solo," he offered politely, his ear flicking.  As others stepped out of the marsh, he spotted some recognition in the eyes of one and felt the familiar aura of the Force in the other. "Not at all, though I'm afraid I grew somewhat lost along the way."

To Anubis specifically, he flicked his tail, thoughtful. "It's good to see a familiar face." You look different though, but I suppose I do too.

After a pause, the youth cleared his throat, a bright gleam sharpening his gaze.  Tanglewood.  "I am a member of Sunhaven, though it's been a long while since I first lost my tracks.  ...If you're an ally of ours, I would appreciate a place to stay and regain my bearings.  I won't be any trouble."

Soft, snow white paws shuffled as the vixen materialized, attracted by the overlap of voices, alabaster ears perked.  Her unmatched hues swirled with thought and curiosity as they rested on the newcomer, blinking as he explained his situation.  Strange name. But not the strangest.

She halted besides Anubis, though her fur pricked, actively aware of the God's presence with some sort of mixture of anxiety and comfort.  A small, polite smile took form on her maw as she tilted her head.  "I-I don-don't think it's a-a problem." Though she wondered if it was her call.

"I-if you need an-any help re-recovering your s-strength, I-I can t-take care of you," a courteous offer, though she truly did not mind terribly much.  "I-I'm Kiira, o-one of the medics h-here... We-welcome to Tanglewood."
