Amparo was no stranger to travel, but that didn’t mean she liked it. Her journey to the Rosebloods had been one fuelled by fear and urgency, so naturally it went by in the blink of an eye, but this? This? It was dragging, and she hated it.

She struggled to re-cap her canteen, thumbless paws and determined little needle mouth working hard to screw it back into place, and then she scampered to catch up with the crowd, sinking back into the fray with a barely suppressed groan of annoyance. Something had better happen soon, she thought bitterly, flicking sand out from between her toes. Amparo blinked. Hang on. Something can happen right now.

“[color=#6babb3]Hey!” She cried out, eyes fixed on something in the distant left. She made a point to arch her spine, fur bristling in alarm. “[color=#6babb3]H-Hey do y-, d-d-do you guys s-see th-that? Wh-What is th-th-that? W-We gotta, we gotta r-r-run!” She cried out. Nothing was there, of course, but you wouldn’t know that based on how she shrieked. “[color=#6babb3]Hu-Hurry!” Amparo urged, jogging around the rest.

a blatant stare would be made in amparo's direction, the tigress sweeping her head out to the side. the active merc was relaxed, willing to let the problem come to her. "if it isn't a sandstorm or lumbering enemy, we ought to be alright. we have our own goliaths and our own Davids." she drawled in a tired accent, the tigress looking back at the small feline, allowing herself to momentarily be herded.

[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Sephiroth was walking ahead of the group, keeping scout most out of all of them.  His enhanced senses were stretched slightly, not too far to keep his wits about him.  Enough to pick up Amparo’s shrieks however, which made him stop in his tracks through the sand.  His breath caught in his throat for a moment before he extended his senses further to pick up no current threat to the travelling animals.  His muscles would relax at the realization of there actually being no threat, and he would turn around to address the Rosebloods behind him.

”Amparo.”  His voice was stern and firm, eyes narrowed slightly.  He could understand boredom, but Sephiroth was a creature of all business and focus on the task at hand and saw no reason for frivolous action.  He didn’t want his temper to get the better of him however, as he gazed seriously at the smaller animal.  ”There is nothing out there, I can assure you if there was I would be the first out of all of us to know.”  That, and he wanted to consider himself frightening enough to scare off the larger beasts of the sandy beyond.
