She enjoyed taking naps hidden in places other animals could not find her within, but just because she couldn't be found by someone in them didn't mean others couldn't annoy her in them. Jiyu had been in the middle of one of her naps when the talking of the nearby animals woke the feline sleeping deep within the hallowed out trunk of a tree. Whatever was going on? The calico knew she would have to investigate it at the least, even if she would prefer to just go back to the blackness of slumber. Trapped within the air was a scent which caused her to finally completely believe whatever the ruckus about required someone like her to actually show up. Sleep was entirely forgotten for the moment as the loyal feline refocused on making sure everyone remained safe against the world.

Without sound the vizer walked through the formed group the one eye left uncovered by her hair tuft blankly gazing at the pair. How many animals would be vicious towards the idea of accepting animals formerly of an enemy group? It was nearly impossible to count that number, but in spite of everything the calico did not stand among them! Once upon a time she had been dangerously possessive and would kill anyone like them trying to join all on her own, but eventually as time had went on she came to realize that when she had been accepted she had been just as dangerous. Why should she deny them the same chance she had been given even when the secrets that she now managed to keep had come out back than? Sure, no one had to trust them or like the pair, but they deserved the chance.

"I'm sure you can understand why we'd be a bit suspicious." where they had come from had done some damage to the group, but that was how the world worked. "The matter may not end here. However, now is not the time for any discussion on it." anything in the past and what was born of it, all of that paled in comparison, in the face of their wish to change allegiances combined with current health appearance. "For the moment we'll be taking you to Rosemary for those injuries and some rest." she didn't know what in the world she was doing, but it was invisible past the emptiness of her, the void easily able to cover the fact she didn't have any idea how to do any of this or if she was right.

"Tsuyu doesn't need medical help, ribbit." The frog hybrid croaked, staring down at the female with empty charcoal eyes. She then smiled, her tongue drawing over the skull on her adoptive father's face. "We're just hungry- Is your leader here? Is he fun?" Asked the girl, leaning forward a bit, her tongue drawing over her lips. With a disgusted look towards the one whom almost ran up to her father, Tsuyu felt her fur rise a bit out of instinct. He belonged to her- he was all hers! Nobody could have her papa!

"Thank you for your welcomes! If there's anything else, we'll be going to find a place to stay now. Right, papa?" She asked, tugging on his fur gently.

"The leader would be me."  The lion would rumble, eyes lowering to study the pair of newcomers, his form statue-esque and firmly standing.  There was power around him, he oozed the authority that his position required of him.  "I am Sephiroth.  I trust that you all will settle in to the Rosebloods well enough."  The male was all professional and deep smooth voice, despite his occasional tendency to turn violent and unreasonable.

jerisidie watched as bai shi approached, his fur lifting slightly as they called out to him, "child?" he murmured, wanting to frown and approach as bai shi suddenly back-pedaled away from him and back to the supposed safety of their groupmates. he would have to speak with them afterwards, see why they were here. he didnt know that they could sense his turning, or the wrongness in his soul.

his head turned to astéri, taking in the semi-organic being that his child had taken a liking to eons ago. he nodded briskly, "astéri." things had been a little tense between them lately, for some reason or another, but seeing the child he had brought up pressed against his own, he felt the stirrings of anger in his breast. he felt the desire to hurt him, for no reason other than standing next to the child that had turned away from him, a co-conspirator.

he felt disgust settle into approval as he looked to the calico and lion that came forward at last, "my injuries will heal, but we thank you. yes, we would like to rest, if all is approved. we have traveled a long way." he rumbled, feeling tsuyu tense against him, slight amusement, if you could call the lack of emotion well, that, ran through his mind at her sudden tension at bai shi's quick approach.

The guy had a little bit of a sense of humor so that was at least something. At the mention of what his mask could do, Vagabond raised his paw and tapped his claw against the metallic material so that the other could hear the noise it made as it did so. "So I don't get my face ripped off." Vagabond said in somewhat of a joking manner. Ironically, it was the way that he marked those that he eventually killed was by skinning their face and basically ripping it off so that everyone would be able to see the skulls that were underneath. Vagabond watched the other's canines eyes as they moved to look at the injuries that he had, and the look that was hidden from the other's face seemed to morph slightly. The guy was going to say it wasn't he. Yep, there it was. A low growl escaped the sleep-deprived beast as his twin tails lashed violently behind him. "Of course I know how to heal them. It isn't like they're anything major." Vagabond would almost say with a snarl almost out of nowhere. The mood swings were one of the major factors that contributed to the way that he interacted with others that were around him. What he said, however, was a complete lie. Bai Shi had taught him a couple of things, but at the end of the day he had been so tired and tried far too hard to concentrate that he didn't even remember anything. It was his fault that he wasn't sleeping and his memory was certainly taking a toll for it all. Vagabond watched as the lupine took off his mask and revealed what he looked like underneath. Nothing extreme or horrendous that was for sure, but he noticed that the other was talking about his scent that it probably wasn't going to end well.

He kept on forgetting that scent could be used to identify others in this world, and he wasn't capable of using it thanks to the mask that he wore on his face. Well, this was probably going to suck. The canine moved in front of the cat that he had been traveling with as he spoke. Mate? What did that mean again? Oh wait, did that basically mean wife or husband in this world? Vagabond wasn't quite sure as he wasn't even sure if mates stayed together for life in most animal species. Weren't they just flings? He wasn't going to go into detail. He listened to what the other had to say and his vivid blue eyes gave no hint of what he was feeling underneath the mask. Why did he do it? That was always the question that he was asked, wasn't it? Vagabond seemed to hesitate before answering the question, tilting his head until he heard his neck pop. "Sounds like they drew the short straw. It's all for business." Vagabond gave a vague answer. If this guy was here, he doubted that he was going to play nice. Vagabond would tilt his head almost like a puppy, but instead of it being cute when a puppy did it, it seemed almost threatening with his calm attitude. "Why? You come to take revenge?" The Hellhound questioned the other in a threat. If the other wanted to try and get revenge on those that they lost, Vagabond would allow it without much thought. Then more and more people began to make their way over, some that he didn't know and some that he did. He looked at Bai Shi at the corner of his eye, watching the other's excitement dwindle as the fox began to move closer to him.

the fox's ears laid back, eyes switching between father and the one that they were beginning to see as a father figure. they quietly pressed back against astéri, feeling the whites of their eyes slowly reveal. the talk of murder wasnt foreign to them, but they could only fear that the mate their father spoke of was their other parent. "was it ... papa?" their voice cracked, question aimed towards the white hellhound. they almost didn't want to know.

they didnt know what was safe anymore, instead pressing close to astéri, feeling an uneasy growl building in their chest, tail flicking to lay over the scabbard of their jian. they watched their father, his every movement. he had changed since last time, but he moderately smelt the same. an aching in their chest brought them close to a whine. they hated this, this uncertainty.

looking at vagabond they decided that it was safest to move closer to him, despite the fact that he may have killed their father. judging from the way that jerisidie spoke, it wasn't adagio, but a partner from before their time, one he never told his kids of. they decided then, moving closer, wanting to seek out what safety he did permit around himself towards the younger generations.

bai shi turned their head back to face tsuyu, feeling another low noise of anxiety build up in their chest. who is she? why is she with my father? their eyes narrowed in thought, heavily leaning towards their sibling of sorts, putting their paw beside his, needing the comfort of family as they faced this. they wanted to speak to jerisidie, alone.

a deep dragging breath left the hellhound, exhaling. "revenge would be nice, but no. he ... he didn't like this world anyways. it's best if he goes back." he replied monotinely before looking at his children, ears flicking backwards.

there was an untold amount of rage boiling in his chest, the hellhound standing still, "it was not adagio, bai xiaodan. it was a different partner of your father's from before your birth." he told them quietly, forgetting that they had long ago changed their name from their birth one.

his gaze swept to astéri, of whom bai shi was leaning against in their uncertainty. he glared at the semi-organic creature, wanting to attack him or some other thing, but he held back. he wouldnt attack him today.

"Come on, ribbit." Tsuyu snarled softly, her patience wearing thin as she dipped her head to Sephiroth. "My name is Tsuyu, then. We'll be going." Tsu meowed, tugging on her mental bond with her father.

"Move. Move!" Came the telepathic hiss from the girl, her ears flattening against her head.
