There was worry, deep set in her mind and in her heart. She didn't know what to do and the conditions of her home was getting worse and worse as time went on. It looked like they would have to evacuate soon and she honestly didn't think it would come to that. The issue was from the mere fact that she didn't know if she was waiting till the last minute or not. Flood waters were unpredictable and they could come and go so fast and leave such devastation in its wake that she just didn't know how to handle the situation. Plus she didn't have gills anymore or fins and this body had a harder time actively swimming even with more muscles. This coat weighed her down more than she liked and often times she had to rest after a light swim. Though not as worrying as before she was exceedingly worried about it now and thinking about what could happen in the future made her worry about other things. Thoughts she had left buried in her head about how she felt, about what she hoped for the future. The idea that if things were to sour that she'd never get to tell him. Would he...feel the same? Her eyes glanced down at her paws as she walked along the shore, already having been deep in Typhoon's territory. This place was like second nature to her and often times she had thought about coming here to ask for a dual alliance just so she could feel closer to him.
But she couldn't do that. As a leader her whom mind and drive should lay with Sunhaven and she cursed her feelings. She hated this. Her mind and emotions had driven her here and though she couldn't stay she just wanted to see him. Maybe just a glimpse before she turned tail like the coward she was and returned home to face the devastation that was surely to befall the riverside village. The beach was already under the thrashing waves of water, muddy liquid lapping over the boardwalk and seeping into homes. Buckingham's home had capsized and even Bex's home had become flooded. These were signs of what was to come and they had to get out before things got worse. Yet she lifted her head up and turned to slowly peer at the Bay area, eyes flicking over the homes before she gave a low sigh and looked back down. "Ya so stupid, Marina..." Her words were hissed underneath irritated breath and she just shook her head a little bit more. It was just too hopeful. And all in all it made no sense. What would he want with a woman like herself? Did....they have anything in common?
Frustration was the last thing she wanted to have right now. She needed something to ease her mind instead of making it more of a mess then it already was. That was when an idea popped in her head. She hadn't necessarily talked to any of his kids. They were all sweet children in her eyes and maybe just maybe... Golden seemed rather intuitive and insightful. She knew that the blue and gold seaglass necklace was for her father. Could she maybe...get her feelings off her chest? That also begged the question of if the child approved or not of how she felt about her father. Turning she looked around herself and debated on how she would find the child, slowly slipping toward the buildings as she called out gently into the crisp morning air. "Ah, Golden? Ya around? I know this might be a little odd but...I'd like tae talk."
