When it really came down to it, everything that happened leading up to this point was this lil shit's fault.  This little shit came up with the grand scheme of seeing the mortal realm, really egged on a dare if you don't mind for context.  A small demon child who had never been to the mortal realm, and wasn't aware of how dangerous it was for a demon who had no prior experience and could easily be snatched up into a contract that would seal and bound them to it's very word or what ever word was planned for whomever their master was.

the stark white jackcal, pure white as sugar looked completely clueless.  Apparently he did not learn how to return back home to hell, and now he was stuck here.  Here been Sunhaven territory, but none the less would they ever learn that now would he?  " Er hello? Anyone here?" he called.

However to some, kitsunes had been creatures of myth...and yet, here Clove was. A kitsune, albeit only a two-tailed one.
So in reality, Clove couldn't rule the existence of supernatural beings out - especially considering the recent ghost problem every territory was currently experiencing, which was so bad Tanglewood had moved out and fled to Sunhaven.
As she spied the snowy creature on the border, nothing about him alarmed Clove. There was certainly nothing to suggest he was not mortal, so she approached Jamal far more confidently than she would have done had there been two horns growing out of his skull.

"Yep. I'm here." the kitsune responded, her golden eyes twinkling with mirth before her expression simmered into one more somber.
"You've reached Sunhaven territory. May I ask what you're here for?" Clove queried, adjusting the feathered wings on her back so that they lay more comfortably along her spine.
Let's hope they're not an Ascendant spy, or something.

Sunhaven eh? A place named after the sun, that big ball of gas? The young pup squinted slightly raising his eyes of quicksilver  and momentarily frowned inwardly. That sounded ideal, briefly nodding.

Yes, jamal was a demon. Not all demons had horns, nor all demons looked like honest to God monsters.  Nor had he ever seen a two tailed kitsune before, which made his head tilt.

"Sunhaven? Oh I want to join? If that is alright..." he asked softly putting on a facade.

CRYPTICWHISPER is an Angeli Divine, in the form of a 5ft Angeleon - he is of the exceedingly rare 'black Ichor' caste of which only a theorised handful exist [mine].
Currently he resides in Sunhaven and is considered 'fallen' by his divine brethren for his renegade status as their once ex-general. Aura and abilities are black-purple as is signature to black Ichor caste. Wears silver-black 'black star' armour & wields the Eclipse Sword.

the Angeli was a dark silhouette with the sun at his back behind the slighter figure of the kitsune and those eerie azure eyes focussed on the child for a moment -

a demon, but not of the same strain and greater strengths of the daemoni he usually dealt with it seemed, hm, possibly a native breed of daemon, similar and yet...not.

his eyes narrow but his tenseness abates somewhat - it's a child after all, and no matter how long he had fought against Daemoni, he will not strike a child and less so one whom has yet to show any bad intent.

still the Angeli stays quiet behind clove - deferring in this matter, he is but a traveller here seeking refuge, he will not presume upon allowances, merely pay his debt as due and no more.

By just glancing over at Jamal, the maine coon wouldn't even think that the child was a demon. Buckingham knows that there are real demons in this world- but he's only seen them metaphorically. Take his first handler for an example, Ximen. Without a doubt, Bucky would call Ximen a demon- the mutated cheetah set for all of his efforts to steal Bucky ans manipulate him to believe he was Ximen's weapon. He also tortured Buckingham, and even though he's free from Ximen's claws, Bucky will never go back to himself before the whole ordeal. He has to continue living his life with the possibilities of an Asset relapse, or even worse. He has to live with the guilt of the people he was manipulated to kill, and more afterwards.

The fluffy maine coon was the next one to make his way over, shortly arriving after Crypticwhisper. His light blue eyes landed on Jamal, his bushy tail slowly swishing behind him. Jamal was definitely on the younger side, he couldn't help it but wonder why they were alone at the border. "You're free to join Sunhaven," He began to speak up as he glanced over at his two clanmates for a moment, "But we'll need your name first. I'm Bucky Barnes, by the way."

Bex had very little knowledge of demons, so much that to her this new joiner was just an ordinary child. Just as sweet and innocent looking as any other kid was. And he was looking for a place to stay? That seemed to be no problem at all to the collie, who approached after Bucky had, and stood next to the feline with a smile. "Welcome, kid," she spoke up in greeting, her tone as friendly as could be as her words came out in such a soothing voice which only seemed to occur whenever she was speaking to little ones. She could only hope that this pup wasn't lost, or that he had parents who were worried about him. She knew how they felt, and it was awful. Little did she know that this kid was likely more capable of taking care of himself than most mortal children were. "I'm Bex. If you ever need anything feel free to ask, okay?" Yes, they hadn't gotten his name yet, but he was pretty much accepted into Sunhaven at this point.

Sunhaven was forever busy, they seemed to be the life of the party now a days and they were getting people coming in left and right. Although that made her extremely wary given the circumstances of what was happening between them and the unapologetic Ascendants she supposed she would just have to remain vigilant and keep and eye on those that were wishing to join them. But it had been peaceful these last few days and she guessed that they were actually taking the hint and her words seriously about not coming over to their border. Flicking her tail slowly back and forth the woman would make her presence known, tall form walking forward with a strange quietness to it. Usually when she walked the hellbeast was quite loud and clumsy especially considering she had not been used to this form. But now most of her movements were utterly silent and she walked proud with tails slightly lifted up. Her stance oozed dominance and she allowed her gaze to rest on the child that had managed to find himself in Sunhaven's territory. Her head tilted to the side a bit and she allowed herself to take note of the situation.

It appeared as if the kid wanted to join them. He seemed lost in a way and she had no ill in her that she would sit and turn a kid away from making a home here. Her jaw tightened for a moment before she relaxed and gave a light nod of her head toward the kid. Well, he was most definitely welcomed here and she gave a small smile, pulling up her jowls just slightly to reveal large sharp teeth. The shark in her still lingered ever so slightly as she pulled the expression back a bit. "Ya are definitely welcome tae stay here. All we need is a name tae call ya by. Mine's Marina."
