[div style="text-align: justify;"]He'd been hiding out in the Starpool- that was just where Anakin hung around. The forces were in balance as far as he was concerned (typically they were not, and he could feel that.) It wasn't his problem right now, though.
    That's irresponsible, Anakin.
Unless the world was exploding, "divine forces" wasn't a need. Anakin, however, had heard of the other ghosts showing themselves this month. Some fearful part of him prayed it wasn't him- and some childish, sunken part of him wanted to see his mom.
His mother wasn't a part of the force, she had loved him endlessly and he let her down. That's in the past, Anakin. That was one of his hardest things to let go of, and Anakin thought he had. He was one with the force now, so he should just be like the other Jedi now.
Free. What a terrible fate. Anakin was only free in death.

His fellow ghosts hadn't really bothered him. He made it clear to the ones that got too close that the Starpool was his spot, and that they needed his permission to walk it. Which also wasn't very force-like, but Anakin didn't want any bad spirits here and he didn't want people meddling with the force.

Anakin prowled about now, the crisp night air unknown to him as another ghost dared to stand on the starpool's shore. The ghost was nothing like Anakin- it was white, its mouth hung open and head tilted to the side. It was a small cat, and Anakin towered over it, tail up and mane puffed out.

"Aaaagh..." The ghost wheezed, empty eyes vacant and stepping towards the pool. Anakin let out a growl, the other spirit stepping back and keeping back.
"You don't remember how to talk anymore." Anakin stated aloud, staring at the ghost, watching it comtemplate its movements.
The ghost groaned back, and Anakin smarled.

Maybe he was lucky. Anakin wouldn't end up like that. He would be remembered and he would be eternal in the Force. He glanced back at the ghost, watching it groan and moan, as if it was trying to conversate with him.
"Have you come here for peace?"

    A moan in response.
    Anakin sighed.
    "SPEECH"

[div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; text-align: justify;"]Rodion did not like the ghosts. After his encounter with a rather violent one in his own room, the kitten tried to stay as far away as he could. Growing rather bold, the kitten decided to sneak out of the camp, a very dumb idea for someone who was still learning to retract their claws. He slunk through the tall grasses, his little scrawny tail waving about in the air. Fortunately, no predator was in sight, though, he did not know that. Rodion was still ignorant about the world around him and what horrors it harbored. His mother had taught him basic things, though they were very minor. Having come to terms that his mother was not coming back, he still held a heavy heart. Occasionally, he would still weep over her in the dead of night when dreams of her came to visit him.

Pale blue eyes peeked through the grass at Anakin, both frightened and intrigued by such an animal. He had never seen a lion before. The scent of the Ascendants that wafted off the lion told Rodion that they would not harm him, or, at least, with consequence. One swipe of a paw and little Rodi would be the equivalent of mashed potatoes. Eyes growing wide at the sight of the ghost, his little tail puffed up, a pathetic excuse for hiss coming from his throat. "Get away mister! Those ghosts are evil!" he shouted, suddenly popping out of the grass as if he was all high and mighty. Where this new found courage came from, he was not sure, but he was going to milk it as much as he could.

[div style="text-align: justify;"]The ghost moaned at Anakin, both his and the spirit's heads turning to look at the kitten as it hopped out of the underbrush. Anakin's head tilted and a non-existent eyebrow raised. He flicked his head back and he watched the ghost walking into the starpool, and sink away. Anakin turned back around, white, ghostly eyes on the kitten.
He missed kids. He missed his kids. Anakin reached up, paw touching the former place of his chest box.
"It's alright, son." An oof, mixed with a groan of pain. Regret, pain, grabbing Luke, "You are the Free Skywalker..."

His other kids. He feels like they are far away now, why can't he remember all of them, even the adopted ones? There was he treated like his own son, a panther with cybernetic parts, just like him. There'd been Almir and Alice and Pluto... He has seen one from that triple in forever.
You're a bad father. Your kids kept vanishing. Where's Valemon? Sekai? Ekkreth? Anakin sucked in an unneeded breath, glowing blue body stepping off the Starpool's water and approaching the kitten.
You're still a bad person, Anakin.

"Hello, little one." Anakin's voice was deep and calm, he laid down, head level with the kitten- who would have been about the same size.
"Did you not notice I'm a ghost too?"
