He was starving. Despite being such a small mammal, he sure did have an appetite. And unfortunately, his desert home did not readily provide fish and frogs so he had to travel far for it. The Ascendants were a good choice, because they were ... sort of close to water. He always made sure to not cross the border. It still baffled him that identification papers had not been demanded of him when he joined the Pitt.

Sirius sank his teeth into the slippery body of the fish he had just caught. He was a few steps away from the border, but he didn’t mind. He was too busy eating.

Onision was never one to fight at the borders. While he had always had a smart mouth, a bitch of an attitude, and a rude first impression on everyone, he had morals. Don't attack until pissed off, or attacked first. If attacked first, fight to kill. The latter wasn't his responsibility, but Aloysius' own. The trickster God rather liked fighting and ripping into people, meanwhile Oni was just all talk.

Long, feminine limbs carried the Lieutenant along the border, his daily border checks going alright so far. Or so he thought.

With a turn of his head, the scent of the Pitt made Onision's fur fluff up in agitation. What was up with the fuckers coming back to their territories so much? Flashbacks of his kidnapping and torture by the Pittians went through his head, and Oni stomped over to the feasting critter, a loud growl ripping from his throat.

"The desert doesn't suit your needs, pest? You're not over our borders, but you're really fuckin' close to it." Oni snarled, a warning, but he wouldn't attack. This was merely the felidae sizing the creature up, bowing up and trying to come off as intimidating.

He just had to choose to join the most hated country of this world, hadn’t he? It seemed that every damn Clan was going to be hostile to him because of the Pitt stench on his chocolate brown pelt. Sirius’ fur ruffled and the mink pulled back his teeth in a growl. ”Fuck off.” He swallowed the last of his fish and paused, eyes widening. He suddenly felt nauseous. Had the fish been poisioned? Was he dying?

After a bit of shifting, a five-foot black wolf stood in the place of the mink. His head was still ringing and he shook it side to side, opening his eyes to a slit. Needless to say, he was surprised at his transformation. It was surely a step up from the European mink. But ... I can’t do anything. Rozovsky, what in hell did you do? Rozovsky, I’m talking to you! The German’s voice was lost in Sirius’ mind. Dear comrade Kemmerich, do not worry. I will beat this pathetic cat to a pulp. He will not insult us again. A smile graced the large wolf’s features. This was it. This was Anatoly. Not Sirius, not Rainer. It was only him, Anatoly Rozovsky ... Rainer’s voice was only a consciousness.

The wolf towered over Onision, spittle foaming at his mouth as he bared his fangs. ”Maybe I will step over precious border of yours, cyka. It will bring me joy to bring home new slave for Clan.” Anatoly thrummed in his thickly accented voice, itching for a fight. He was more fierce and independent than his counterpart ... and he was not going to be pushed around and called names ever again.

"Fuck off."
It was those two words that ticked off the short-tempered feline right from the start, and a loud "HAAH?" Came from his jaws fast enough before the little pest shifted into a wolf, similar in size to a certain someone he knew. A certain someone who was mentally screaming at him to let him take over.

"Ты дерешься не с тем человеком. Уходи сейчас же." Oni replied in Russian, a single blue eye narrowing in disgust as spit dripped against his cheek. Oni barely moved from his position, but the moment he heard the word 'cyka', his eye twitched in anger, and his body shifted out of pure instinct.

What was once a small, delicate feline, was now a hulking lupine, dark brown in coloring. It was obvious the thing wasn't a mortal being by the way his pupils were blue, iris was black, and the sclera was completely black. Almost like a ghouls, his eyes showed just the extend of what the other would be dealing with.

Normally, it would just be that. Normally, he'd be pretty decent looking other than his eyes, but something was different this time. Extremely different. No words, he wasn't vocal. Saliva dripped from the canine's snout as the wolf with similar height, five feet, squared up to meet the other's own height, vicious snarling ripping from his throat. His canines were extended, as if hungry for just the blood that this trespasser seeked from him.

Hungry, hungry. Oni's voice cried out, the two personalities a bit more feral than usual because of this. He wanted blood, he hadn't eaten for a long while. Onision's anger was devastating, and the wolf felt himself move. Just move. With a quick lunge, Aloysius ducked his head and body, using his back legs to propel himself enough as he attempted to bite down on the male's neck.

There was a reason why Onision didn't let his emotions get to him much. And Aloysius was the reason.

Rozovsky’s ears lay flat against his head as he growled a challenge to the other large wolf, his hackles rising.

The black wolf rose up to meet his attacker, feeling teeth sink into his neck. Rozovsky aimed to claw the other wolf’s back and attempt to dig his teeth into Aloysius’s neck while thrashing around, trying to gain the upper hand.

Ghoulish eyes seemed to radiate with glee as teeth met flesh, blood seeping out of the puncture wound he left behind. His jaws were locked tight, a snarl of warning leaving his maw as he took his first drink, the taste of blood hot on his tongue. It was delicious, Oni hadn't fed in so long that he felt starved. When he felt claws battering on his back, Aloysius bit down harder, attempting to scare the canine into stillness by putting the idea of suffocating him in his head. He wanted more of a thrill than this, a yelp of pain, begging. Aloysius was the more sadistic personality, this wasn't enough for him, but he continued to drink.

With a snarl of panic, he thrashed harder. So vampires existed in this world? That was a sickening thought. He did not want to become a meal. For this, he’ll give the stupid cyka a greater beating than he had thought he would ... if only he could wrench himself out of this death grip.

Suddenly he stilled, eyes widening as Aloysius’ mental power landed. The wolf whined helplessly, mind dissolving into panic until Kemmerich’s stupid German voice started screaming in his mind. YOU’RE NOT DYING, HE IS TRICKING YOU. HOLD ON A MOMENT. Suddenly the feeling of suffocation eased from his mind. With Kemmerich’s help, a mental barrier was created around the former Soviet’s mind. CATCH HIM OFF GUARD. KICK HIM. YOU STILL HAVE A FEW SECONDS BEFORE HE REALIZES YOU’VE GOT THE BARRIER.

Rozovosky saw no reason to argue. The black wolf lashed out with his hind legs, aiming to kick in the softest areas of the lower stomach area. It’d be pretty gross if he managed to kick the groin area, but at this point, he would do anything to prevent himself from becoming vampire drink. If the other wolf released his grip in the slightest, Rozovosky would yank back and hopefully free himself, taking a few minutes to regroup.

A heavy kick of limbs hit Aloysius in his gut, making a loud grunt escape the were-vampire before he jumped back and away from his prey, long tongue drawing over bloodied lips. Thankfully, he had gotten a pretty good amount, but not too much. While Oni wanted to feed, Aloysius wanted to kill.

"Thy host demands that thee leaves this territory, trespasser." Aloysius finally spoke, his temper simmering just a bit, enough to finally speak in the ancient english tongue that he always did. Aloy shook out his fur, readjusting his position as he walked around the male, sizing him up.

"Doth thee wish to continue?" He asked, more of a warning, honestly. He wouldn't hold back the next time. If he wanted paws and claws, he'd get it, but Aloysius was used to going for the neck. The neck was always the most sensitive part of a wolf, he knew from experience from his own mortal death. Why do you think pack beta's always stayed under their Alpha's throat when fighting? It's to protect them, of course.

And this Alpha wasn't planning on losing this meal, specially brought to him for his own enjoyment. Enhanced senses dialed in, as the male listened for a heartbeat, felt for a tenseness in muscles due to blood rush. Fear, anything. He'd regret using hearing, smell, and touch all at once later, but for now he had a mission.

Get the male to attack him first.

It tastes horrible, but he is used to far worse. His ear twitches when he hears the other wolf speak. What was that? Old English? Was this the reincarnated soul of Shakespeare?

His honor is still wounded, and he still thinks he has a reasonable shot at fighting the other canine and potentially winning. He tries to remember what caused the altercation in the first place. He can’t remember. It’s all muddy and messy, like what caused the Great War itself. ”I was told that I am a traitor to my land if I yield or allow myself to be captive.” Like he still believed that Soviet propaganda. And he didn’t have a very strong tie to the Pitt either. It was more of a threat to the other wolf. Trying to show how resolved and determined he was. Unfortunately Kemmerich begged to differ, trying to convince Rozovsky to turn around and just head home. The Russian did not relent.

The black wolf reared up on his hind legs and charged for his opponent, aiming to reach out with his paws to grab Aloysius’ face and slam his head into the ground, where he would try to close his teeth around one of the other wolf’s forelegs, hoping to draw blood.

Aloysius always loved a fight.

Cold blue pits watched the dark lupine move, examining all shifts in movement before he lunged as well, a snarl ripping from his jaws as he rose up to his hind legs, attempting to off-set the  power balance with the Russian in favor of using the moment of weakness to try and match onto the male's neck for another round of feeding.

He wanted to hear yells of pain, cries for him to stop. Something, anything, to keep him going. To keep him pissed, to keep the adrenaline running through his system.

"YIELD, YOU STUBBORN RUSSIAN!"
