DAI COMPANION THEO:
— Absolutely a city elf, adopted by Marauder. Is qunari Marauder a thing? Either way it’s a strange combination and Theo didn’t get it for a very long time. Small but lean. Toned. Hair curls around his ears. Overall looks soft and cute except he’s got so many scars and so many knives. Really really likes having his ears touched, just saying. Probably kinda purrs a little bit.
— Rogue dual wield. I don’t know about his specialization yet. Maybe assassin? That works tbh.
— Joins up early in the game but takes forever to get his companion quest since it’s a late game thing. Has something funny in the middleish with finding his goddamn cat.
— I think he would be recruited in Redcliffe? Definitely one of the major busy areas but not Orlais. He fucking hates Orlais. He thinks they’re stuck up and ridiculous.
— You know how you officially meet Sera with her shooting someone through the throat? Theo. Except he’s stabby and it just some goddamn street fight. Inquisitor stumbles into it by accident, cutscene starts with Theo killing the last person standing. Offers to join up. Yes or no, with no being him. Probably going away forever? Maybe he’d show up later in some mission but idk if it would be. In a good way.
— So. “Elves see better in the dark than humans, and their eyes glint like those of a cat in the dark. This is likely the result of an ocular structure called tapetum lucidum.” This is a thing.
— Elves are unable to grow facial hair, which is consistent with his character.

APPROVAL:
— Approves of mages kept as allies, disapproves of anything involving the templars, greatly disapproves of conscripting the mages. Maybe he would be neutral about disbanding the templars? I have to think on that one a little bit more, but the mage ones are definite.
— Greatly approves of declaring the Inquisition as for doing what’s right. For order and to stop Corypheus are probably. Approves. Vengeance is slightly approves. Personal power is greatly disapproves. Faith is slightly disapproves. He’s honestly pretty easy to please with this.
— I’m not sure what he would feel about the fate of the wardens yet. I think he’d have a minimum gain/loss either way, maybe slightly approve for allying with them.
— Does not like Gaspard as ruler. Does not like anyone as ruler. Hates everyone and wants Orlais to burn. Begrudgingly accepts that reconciling Briala and Celene is probably the best option. Actually I don’t think he’d want Florianne arrested. Just kill her.
— Approves of an alliance with Abelas, disapproves if the Inquisitor romances him and drinks from the well. However, he approves if they haven’t romanced him. Heart vs logic, you know.
— Overall approves of helping others, the occasional self-sacrificial act, and not being stupid. Or only being stupid from time to time. Disapproves of being selfish or hostile to the little people, as Sera would put it. Be accepting, don’t be a piece of shit. All will be well. Kinda loves sarcasm.
— Always always always slightly approves of flirting with him. Even if he’s not interested and the Inquisitor’s not interested, it’s fun and he enjoys it. It’s good practice anyway.

CONVERSATION:
— When hostile, his conversational greetings are clipped or nonexistent. Arched eyebrow and a blank expression sort of thing if he’s really not feeling it. Conversations end with a “fine”, tbfh.
— When neutral, his greetings are… Neutral. “Hey”, “Need something?”, etc. Tends to be curious and slightly flirty but not incredibly so. Conversations probably end with “until next time”.
— When warm, Theo is impressively pleasant. “Nice to see you again”, “Glad to know you didn’t forget about me”, etc. Lots of flirting. Playful. Probably ends with “you know where to find me”.
— When friendly, there’s soooo much more flirting. But his greetings actually get less complex. “Hey”, “Welcome back”, but also with a few complex flirty ones. “Knew you couldn’t stay away” and everything. Though those are obviously much more common when he’s romanced. Goodbye typically comes as “next time, then”, but still the warm ones as well.
— You know, there’s probably a conversation about him being trans at some point.

APPROVAL CONVERSATIONS:
— I’ll have to think of these, since they’re…. Pretty big. And I don’t know where to start.

ROMANCE:
— Only romanceable by guys. Will flirt with girls if they’re being playful about it, but makes it absolutely clear from the start that he’s not actually interested. I need to make a list of what decisions would make him. Unromanceable. Is there anything?
— I think if a female Inquisitor tries to flirt with him for a long time, it would prompt a conversation where he clarifies that he’s into guys and. Not her. Kind of like with Dorian? Says that they can continue as long as they know that.
— Will work on major points later but something I said earlier: flirty as hell and then probably withdrawing a bit in a playful way. Just,,, “earn it”. It’s funny until you realize it’s because he’s realized he doesn’t want something just for fun.
— Honestly I think he might have something like Cassandra. Buy him some flowers dammit. Though it would be optional. Like… You know how you can sleep with Dorian right away, then talk about it in the morning? Or you can tell him you’d like to slow down? It’s like that, but it would actually affect his romance. So maybe it’s more like Jack from ME lmao, where you can have sex with her but then it closes down the option for romance. But not that extreme. Just… Slows it a bit. I dunno, I think I made my point on this lmao.
— Always very happy to kiss the Inquisitor. Can also probably be invited back to the Inquisitor’s quarters regularly, but not solely for the purpose of sleeping together lmfao? Just. Cuddle, read, talk to him.
— He’d be pretty fun in Orlais lmao. Probably kind of teasing with the Inquisitor if they dance with him. “Are you sure you wouldn’t prefer another dance with Florianne?” kind of things.
