Ever since Dimitri had told her what was going on with him, Atbash told herself that he deserved to know what was going on with her. Unfortunately before she had time to do so, Caesar had attacked her, and now was a better time than never to get along with telling Dimitri things. Especially considering the guy was so distraught over her injuries. "Dimitri?" Atbash called as she reached the Polarheart's cabin, using a rock to knock on his door.

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI

Dakota seemed to perk up from reading his book as he heard the knock on the door. He, internally, told the others to get Dimitri up and hobbled to the door, grabbing a stick to turn the lever knob and opened the door. The yellow eye peeled out at her and then opened the door wide enough to let Atbash in. The black Persian wheezed, as if the trip across the cabin had tuckered him out. "Dimitri... might be with you in a few minutes... I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Dakota. I’m old and very tired.” The tom hobbled over to his book, sticking a mark in it and putting it back on his shelf.
"I’m the one that told you about the Great Gatsby...” He chuckled, plopping down and looking at Atbash. "I’m like Dimitri’s grandpa. How are you doing today?”

Oh, Dakota! The older alter; Atbash remembered Dimitri vaguely speaking of him and she remembered seeing his name in the portrait Dimitri showed her. "I'm doing fine." Atbash replied with a kind smile. Should she tell Dakota everything while he was out? Older people tended to be a bit more... judgy, she supposed, and perhaps might even agree with her brothers. Unlikely, but Atbash wasn't sure if she wanted to risk it. Could Dimitri just... whisk his alters away? Is that how that worked? "I was actually hoping to talk to Dimitri about my past since he, you know, explained everything to me." She added quickly, hoping that maybe she could get that out of the way quickly.

Dakota’s ears perked forward and he sat up when she said “he explained everything to me” and tilted his head. "He told you about his parents?” He shook his head, beating himself up for his word choice and then returning to look at her. Dakota knew what had happened, not the details of it. He had heard things from a crying Dimitri and Dagon, holding the two boys in his arms and giving them licks and trying to calm them down.
"Nevermind. For... forget I said that. Dimitri might be a few minutes. You can go ahead and start telling me things, if you want... would you like anything?”

His parents? Atbash blinked in surprise at the question, but when Dakota told her not to worry about it, she decided not to press it. If Dakota didn't want to further explain what he meant by that, that was on him and the rest of Dimitri's alters. Besides, the guy just talked to her about his mental disorder and that probably took a lot of courage from him, so saying one thing at a time was probably best. "No, I'm fine. Thank you though." Atbash responded to his offer, shaking her head. She just wanted to talk was all.

So where to start? "I suppose by now you've heard that Caesar is my brother. He's the one that lives in The Typhoon and attacked me twice." Atbash begun. "Well, I have another brother by the name of Vigenere. He's our oldest sibling and lives in Tanglewood." There, that got her relations out of the way. "We're all dream demons, from a universe known as Dimension FiveX, but its... gone now." Her words were a bit choked as she said this, as she was trying to fight back tears at this point. Caesar had ruined her life, by the things he had done, and she just wanted to go home. But she couldn't.

The old Persian listened thoughtfully, ears pinning back at the idea they were... demons. Dimitri’s in love with a dream demon? What?
Couldn’t anything be normal?
”Caesar.... yes. I think Delta mentioned him. She broke his leg.” She sighed briefly. ”She was... pretty proud of that. Tell me more about this... Dimension and you being a... demon.” He wheezed lightly, pretty unsure about this, but he knew better then to really question the leader.

He really didn’t know what Dimitri saw in her. He strives for Dimitri’s happiness, but based off what Donovan told him he saw, the elder knew it wouldn’t go over well. Dakota worried and wanted Donovan to tell him.

Slowly, his paws were starting to turn white.

Atbash couldn't help but feel worried as Dakota mentioned that Delta broke his leg. Sure, Caesar had injured her, but that still didn't mean he deserved to be injured! Or... did he? Atbash honestly wasn't sure of how she felt about that. She didn't want him to get hurt, but he did deserve it. Deciding to shrug that off and not letting it bother her, Atbash gave a little shrug at Dakota's response. "There's... honestly not much to say about me being a demon," She mused. "My species controls the mind and it's pretty much our specialty, though we do have other abilities, like controlling different elements." She went on. "I was able to manipulate air and water, though I can't do that here. My powers were stripped when I came to Earth." She didn't really mind if she was honest. Using elementals put a lot of strain on her. "The Dimension..." She trailed off, going quiet for a few heartbeats, looking off to the side of Dimitri's cabin. "I'm not sure what to say there. I miss it, but it wasn't exactly the most morally correct place."

Dakota's head tilted, eyes dilating and he seemed to be nearly spacing out. Getting tired... "I'm just imagining... what you could have done to us with your wacky mind powers..." Maybe it was a warning, maybe it was an outloud thought. "Maybe even infiltrate our headspace... If that's possible... He wheezed, his paws briefly regrowing black and standing. "Or do you mean controlling the mind... as in mind control or brain washing..." He asked, a more serious demeanor coming over him and lacing his eyebrows together.
"You don't have these powers anymore, right?"

At Dakota's response, Atbash looked outright offended that she would do such things. "N-no, I don't have them right now, but it's possible they could come back," She explained, before adding her next words quickly, "But I'd never do any of that to you, I promise. Or anyone in Snowbound. I'm... not a monster." Sure, she was a demon, and unfortunately demons had a reputation of being evil, but that just wasn't her. Hell, she didn't even consider Vigenere evil; perhaps an anti-hero of sorts, but he definitely was nowhere near Caesar. "There's way of blocking me out, t-too, if you're that concerned. It's called a mental barrier. You'd have to train yourself to make it stronger, though. But I try not to invade peoples' minds too much, and I only did with telepathy so I had a way to talk to everyone." As leader, she was expected to, was she not? "I never went farther than I needed to, I promise."

The paws started turning white again as Dakota slumped back. Standing too long made him tired. "I didn’t mean any offense Atbash. Just looking out for us.” The legs kept turning white, then to Dimitri’s Tabby Brown.
He fell back for a few moments, laying on... someone’s side. His eyes closed as the rest of the fur changed, a gasp releasing.

Dimitri sat up, looking about the cabin then at Atbash. What was she here for? ”...I’m sorry. How long has it been? What, what....” He scrunched his eyes up as if he was trying to remember something.
